Everything was great until the very end of me and my husband visit. We were still sitting at our table, enjoying our wine and chatting. I was actually thinking about whether I was still hungry, if I wanted to order another dish, or even have another glass of wine. We were clearly not finished. Without asking if we were done, a waitress came over and immediately cleared everything from our table. A moment later, another staff member placed the bill on our table, even though we had never asked for it. At that moment, we felt like we were being told to leave. It was a very rude and unprofessional way to treat customers. I went from really liking this restaurant to feeling uncomfortable staying there. When we raised our concern, one gentleman apologized sincerely, and I genuinely appreciated his response. Unfortunately, the waitress we spoke with was dismissive and didn’t seem to care about what we were saying. Japan is known for its exceptional hospitality, which made this experience even more disappointing. It’s a shame because the food and atmosphere were enjoyable, but the way we were treated at the end completely ruined the experience for us.
View on GoogleIt’s quite an old restaurant, but I think this was only my second time visiting the Azabu-Juban branch. The toilet’s a bit difficult to flush lol, but they’ve got quite a lot of seating, and I’m just grateful they kept serving alcohol even during Covid. The omelette was quite unique, but the Caesar salad, sausages, and meat were all really tasty.
View on GoogleThe food was really really good and the place had also such a nice vibe and style. We had the gnocchi, burrata and Caesar salad as starters and shared a pizza margherita, steak and tomato shrimp pasta as our mains. Really really good food! Everything tasted good. The only thing that annoyed us is that everything came out 1 by 1. Even though we specifically said we want everything at the same time starters and mains. And each dish came out after another, nothing came at the same time. The waitress was really nice though. Still would come again for the food!
View on GoogleOne of the best service I've ever had in tokyo. Our waiter, Taichi, was incredible! He was very polite and professional. He started by introducing himself to us. When was the last time ever happened? The food was incredible, every time I come here. I would highly recommend trying it out, and be ready for an incredible experience if your waiter is Taichi!
View on GoogleAlthough it’s an Italian store, the pizza is adequate at best. The prosciutto is good making that pizza good, but the margarita was alright. The french fries are probably the best thing in the restaurant and I thoroughly enjoyed them. My friend did not enjoy the garlic bread. The atmosphere is nice for every formal / romantic occasion, and i’ve used this store for several birthday events. Great location, and many of the servers have amazing service and small talk, but it really varies depending on the waiter, and the food can use some improvements.
