Tucked away among the office buildings of Hamamatsucho, Byron Bay Coffee Company offers a delicious start to the day. Despite its location in the middle of a bustling business district, the café feels cozy, and inviting. While Byron Bay Coffee Company is primarily known as an independent wholesale roastery in its native Australia, its presence in Japan has evolved into something quite unique. Through a local partnership, the brand has been transformed into a café experience that combines quality coffee with great food. The café is particularly popular with international visitors, and waiting for a table during the morning rush is fairly common. If you're short on time, drinks and snacks are also available to take away. For breakfast, we chose the acai bowl and the tuna onion cheese hot sandwich, accompanied by an iced coffee and lemonade. The coffee was smooth and easy to drink, while the lemonade struck a perfect balance between sweet and tangy. The tuna sandwich had a comforting and nostalgic flavor that felt noticeably different from the tuna sando versions typically found in Japan. We were also glad to have tried our first acai bowl here. The thick acai base was layered with creamy yogurt and topped generously with fruits, crunchy granola, and a drizzle of honey. The combination of textures and flavors made it feel both refreshing and satisfying. Everything came together perfectly for a nourishing breakfast and gave us exactly the energy we needed before spending the day exploring the area.

A quick stop between work tasks turned into a surprisingly satisfying break. I ordered the açai bowl and loved how fresh it tasted: a thick, berry-forward base topped with crunchy granola and plenty of fruit (banana, strawberries, and blueberries). The contrast of cold, smooth açai and the crisp granola kept it from feeling heavy, and it was filling enough to count as a light meal. The café has that calm, Australian-coffee vibe, so it’s easy to reset for 20–30 minutes before jumping back into the day. It’s also very convenient—just a short walk from Daimon Station / Hamamatsucho—so it works well when you don’t have time to wander far. If you’re in the area and want something healthier than pastries, the açai bowl is a great choice.

I dropped by Byron Bay Coffee Daimon for a quick, healthy breakfast near Hamamatsucho and Daimon stations. It’s a small, relaxed cafe that’s easy to use solo, and the morning hours make it great before work or sightseeing. I ordered the acai bowl (pictured). It came nicely topped with banana, strawberries, blueberries, crunchy granola, and a drizzle of honey. The acai base was cold and smooth, not overly sweet, and the fruit made it feel fresh rather than heavy. The granola added a solid crunch, so it stayed satisfying all the way to the last bite. Coffee-wise, they do an Aussie-style lineup (flat white and lattes), and it pairs well with the bowl for a clean, energizing start. Overall, it’s a dependable spot when you want good coffee and a light meal close to the station.

A small cafe that has delicious avocado toast and coffees. They have a special to have a warm sandwich with coffee. There was a line out the door with people waiting to order takeaway and eat in both days I went there. The staff was kind, friendly and professional. They were busy and made time to be personable and warm to the customers. I tried the matcha latte with oat milk and a regular oat milk latte both were delicious. The avocado toast was so good I had it a second time it was perfectly toasted. The flavor was on point. Highly recommend for brunch lovers and or coffee lovers.

Ordered a M-size latte and Basque cheesecake for a quick afternoon snack. Both came out on a very nice wooden platter within 5 min after ordering. The cheesecake felt a bit small, but I guess this is Tokyo size. The cheesecake was very cheesy and delicious, had to take small bites so that I could make it last as long as possible. There were only two people when I entered the cafe, but by the time I left, the place was packed! If you are in the area, this is also a nice place to grab a quick bite. Crowd Size: Very High Payment Method: PASMO
