It was absolutely one of the best pork tonkatsu we've ever had. We tried the premium and regular versions, and both were excellent. It was crispy, juicy, and perfectly fried. The chef cut the pork, and the sound of its crispiness was so satisfying! The service was also very friendly. We highly recommend this hidden gem! Great value for money!

Definitely, my favorite restaurant in Japan! The tonkatsu is so delicious, it literally melts in my mouth. And the crunch, omg, it’s amazing. I recommend the pork filet if you want something on the leaner side. The staff is fr so kind. The whole thing is just an experience to enjoy in Japan. I’m absolutely going to come back during my next visit in Japan.

Came by on a Thursday evening around 6pm and there was no queue. Was quickly ushered to a counter seat as a single diner. Ordering was fuss free using the QR code with English available as an option. Salad and appetisers were provided for one to enjoy while waiting for your order. The chef fried the cutlet and sliced it in front of customers with finesse and obvious pride. The katsu batter was light and crispy and the pork loin thick and juicy. The red miso soup was flavourful and not overly salty. Defiantly a good and delicious meal!

Their Hire-katsu (Pork Tenderloin Cutlet) is truly in a league of its own. The panko breading is incredibly airy and crisp, creating a beautiful “shaggy” texture that shatters with every bite. The tenderloin inside is exceptionally lean yet remarkably succulent, offering a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness that only premium pork can provide. I highly recommend starting with a simple pinch of sea salt to fully appreciate the clean, natural sweetness of the meat before trying their signature savory sauce. It’s a sophisticated and deeply satisfying meal that stands as a must-try experience for any Tonkatsu lover😍

I had lunch at "Butagumi" located in the basement of Roppongi Hills. I ordered the "Thick-Sliced Rosu Katsu (Pork Loin) Set Meal." The 200g tonkatsu was incredibly voluminous and cooked to absolute perfection! The batter was wonderfully crispy, and the meat inside was juicy. They also offer various premium pork brands depending on the day, so I definitely want to try a specific specialty pork on my next visit!
