「ポール・ボキューズ」, the celebrated restaurant in Lyon, France, continues to captivate gourmets worldwide. Paul Bocuse, the chef of the century who established modern French cuisine, opened affordable brasseries in Lyon out of a desire to share delicious French food with the world. That vision crossed the sea to Japan. In 2007, 「ブラッスリー ポール・ボキューズ ミュゼ」 opened at 国立新美術館. It is the first brasserie in Japan to serve the same dishes in the same style as the brasseries in Lyon. Even after the museum closes, the 3F brasserie alone remains open. The 180-seat dining room stretches across the top of an inverted-cone-shaped building, with glass walls…

Lunch is first-come, first-served without reservations. If you wait outside right by the restaurant's 11 AM opening time after viewing the exhibition, you can get in right away. Alternatively, you can sit on the benches next to the entrance and be seated in order. You can enjoy a high-level 2-3 course French meal, and you absolutely must order the chilled corn soup available during the summer season as an add-on. Drawn in by this flavor, I visited Tokyo again the very next month. I definitely plan to return on my next trip to Tokyo.

We had dinner here 2025 March 19. The service was on point, they were very attentive to our needs. The food was good and presented excellently though I felt underwhelmed with the onion soup. Other than that everything was made and prepared well. The crème brûlée was very memorable.

My wife and I came to this museum where this restaurant located without detailed planning. Everything was a surprise to us. Set lunch is amazing and delicious. We will definitely visit here again. Staff are excellent in providing their perfect service. English speaking is not a problem here. The environment, atmosphere, food , drink, and their service worth 10 out of 10

I visited there yesterday after examining art works. I had course orange and gazpacho. I can say you'd better eat outside, there are plenty of good options with history. I know the price was inexpensive but the taste was such an instant frozen food. I thought I was lucky because I could have a seat without any reservation on long holiday, o-bon season but during one hour while I stayed there were only 3 tables (and one of them ordered coffee only). I realized if I could enter an famous restaurant without booking during holiday, it means it went bad not I am lucky.

The restaurant had excellent ambience and dining . My husband had seafood course meal which was not only tasty but delicately plated and flavorful. Hardly any vegetarian option but I settled for French onion soup (it had chicken broth) , it was delicious. Desserts were Maron cake and Creme Brûlée , both were good. This fine dining restaurant is easy on the wallet too .Highly recommend.
