It’s gooddddddd and yummy. The food price is yes, might be a bit higher, but it’s really really good! Def worthy. The brisket is tender and juicy, and the brisket part the shop used is not too fatty, which made it easier to chew while have the sweetness and flavor of fat. Chicken is tender and well seasoning, so yummy. The sausage is also solid and flavored, I enjoy it a lot with beer.

Absolutely love the place. I saw a lot of reviews saying rhe meat was dry. This is an easy fix. They offer 4 different sauces that they bring to your table that taste great. Big Iowa hot, Alabama white, Tangy Coralina, and Big Iowa Mild sauce to mox with your meats. They all got the kid approval! That's sayong a lot because they are picky as hell. The beer is cold, the meat was juicy, and the staff were amazing. Thank you for a wonderful time!

First and foremost the service was the best I’ve ever had. Which is saying a lot for being in Japan! The food is pretty great. You are in Japan not in the southern states so don’t expect the best you’ve ever had. But it’s pretty damn good. Living here in Japan now, I’m excited to have something that reminds me of home!! Truly worth the stop. The brisket was good, the ribs were amazing, and the pork belly was pretty damn good. My husband liked the Mac and cheese. I wasn’t really a fan of the beans. But the fries were shockingly like McDonald’s fries! My husband is from Iowa so this had to be a stop we made! And we even got to put a pin on the board for his hometown! If you’re from Iowa you really gotta stop! Especially if you’re a Hawkeye fan!!! Go hawks!!!

The BBQ here is incredible, well smoked, juicy, and tender. There is a lot of sauce variety, I'd recommend their Hot BBQ sauce. The customer service was excellent thanks to Jim and Cody. I will definitely be coming back here again.

Frankly I had a blast here! Big Iowa BBQ is just a neat little place just outside Tokyo Tower and I highly recommend it to any tourist who misses great Midwestern BBQ
