We noticed this place while exploring near our hotel. We were looking at the menu outside near then entrance and a lovely staff member came out and greeted us. This was around 1:00PM on 27th of June. She spoke English to us which was very kind as my Japanese is very minimal. She showed us inside and guided us to a table which had a gorgeous view of the bay. The cafe is tastefully decorated with an “eco brutalist” vibe, featuring cement walls decorated with lush plants and artworks. We ordered food and drink for lunch. We didn’t wait long at all for our food and drinks to be served. It was presented nicely and tasted great. The only pain point is the price is a bit on the higher side. All staff that interacted with us were friendly and professional. I would recommend to anyone in the area to try this place.

Aug 2, 2025 Lovely, lovely date spot. Lunch course at 3,300 yen in this ambience was such a steal. Food was all delicious. Peach cocktails/mocktails were also tasty, albeit a bit expensive at 1,000 yen each. Didn't sit outside as too hot. Inside was breezy and comfy and the high ceiling made the space feel so bright, fresh and open. No wait for lunch at 13:15 on a Saturday.

Update 2020 Nov 11: Lunch was excellent value for money, so overall this place well deserves 4 stars. There are 6 different set lunches to choose from, all 4 we tried were excellent. And service kept up despite being pretty much full capacity. Continue reading the original post below. This place is a solid 3.5 stars, but Google Maps unfortunately doesn't do half stars.. I really wanted to like this place. Location is away from the crowd so it's quiet and was easy to get a table in the terrace area without prior reservation. Atmosphere is relaxed and makes for a good place to chill. Service is great and they make sure you're nice and warm even sitting out in the terrace at 14 degrees. However, the food for dinner is pricey for what you get. Waiting times were long whether it was for mains or desserts, despite only being around 20 percent full. And food itself was not bad, but not fantastic, and we were not really full even though we ordered more than usual and were expecting small portions. Maybe the atmosphere set my expectations too high. I did see that their lunch menus seem way more reasonable, so I'll give it a try next time.

The place is located next to the harbor, so the view is pretty nice. Therefor, the price is not so cheap (but not super expensive too). Service was great and the food was not bad! During winter, they have a heater outside. There are also some take out menu, and you can have it near a nice green open space in front of the restaurant. Overall, if you are just around the area or waiting for your ferry to arrive, you might wanna check the place out.

Great location overlooking the water. Nice food, even for large groups. Shout out to the lead waitress looking after our group of ~30, very attentive and hard working.
