I initially came intending to have Napolitan, but ended up ordering the omurice, which seemed to be their top recommendation, as a set with hamburg steak. A mini salad arrived, and while I was crunching away at it, a white plate topped with omurice and hamburg steak came out, along with a cup of miso soup. The hamburg steak has a dense, really meaty bite. It isn't piping hot, but tastes good with plenty of demi-glace sauce. There are several places in Shinbashi with delicious omurice, but their classic version, chicken rice wrapped in a thin omelet, is every bit as tasty.

I came in just before lunch service ended. The hamburg steak has a firm, compact, meaty texture, and the rich demi-glace sauce makes you keep eating rice. The side salad and portion of rice were a little meager, so it didn't quite feel worth 1,300円.

A Japanese-style Western restaurant near Shinbashi Station that serves set meals at night, too! A 2-minute walk from Shinbashi Station, I visited the casual Japanese-style Western restaurant 「Kitchen Belle（キッチンべる）」. I arrived around 18:30 on a weekday, and no one was waiting. I got in without any trouble. I ordered the hamburg steak + crab cream croquette set meal for 1,430円. At lunch, it's 1,300円. It comes with miso soup and pickles. In about 5 minutes, the hamburg steak and crab cream croquette were served on top of a generous amount of pasta. The hamburg steak was delicious, covered in plenty of rich demi-glace sauce. The crab cream croquette was surprisingly tasty, too. Including the pasta with demi-glace sauce, I enjoyed everything to the last bite.

Hamburg steak set ￥1,300 It arrives on a hot iron plate not long after ordering, and the presentation looks professional, too. Each table has 2 kinds of salad dressing, which shows their thoughtfulness. They use relatively little binder, so you can enjoy the natural flavor of the beef. There's just one drawback. You'll notice it if you go.
