It's run by a sweet older lady. Unfortunately she doesn't understand so make sure to learn how to order in Japanese. The cafe itself has a lovely antique atmosphere, something straight out of a Ghibli movie. Do be mindful, you're not allowed to take pictures inside. There's a really interesting range of beverages to choose from. The cafe has a music box-like music playing and it's truly a cozy place. This cafe has smoking tables only so no kids allowed.
View on GoogleIt was such a beautiful nostalgic cafe. She has a beautiful collection of coffee cups and she showed me many cherry blossoms cups before she put them away. How sweet😭 Then she bought me the second cup of coffee as a service. Visiting there definitely made my day. You have to be extra careful of the table manner and proper Japanese speaking to keep up with the elegant space but I can assure you that you’ll have a great real cup of coffee. Totally five stars.
View on GoogleAmazing coffee shop! Delicious, real pour over coffee in a very wonderful local shop. Brush up on Japanese if you go in, or at least try as best you can. This is as local and beautiful as you get. In my opinion, best coffee we've had during our visit to Japan!
View on GoogleI had the worst experience at this cafe. The master did not know how to treat customers and was very arrogant. She didn't know that I could understand Japanese, so she kept talking bad about me in Japanese. I was very disappointed that there are such mean people in Japan. I had only met nice people until I met her. Why don't you learn hospitality or make coffee only for your friends as a hobby? Also the coffee is over priced.
View on GoogleThere doesn't seem to be many real cafes around, so this one, who just turned 20,stands out. Free WiFi and you can plug your phone or laptop. Prices are expensive, at least 1000 yens, but second drink of whatever you want is half price. Friendly owner, relaxing and quite place.
