Chef Morimoto-san has been consistently good since I first ate here around two decades ago. He took over when founders retired, changed the name and made the menu a bit more Japanese but in a good way.

Delicious food and great service. The quality of the ingredients is very good. I especially recommend their gorgonzola penne dish. Yummy.

Stopped by last night at this hidden restaurant in my neighborhood (Takanawa). I had been here years ago several times when it was "Restaurant Davis". Same chef and still delicious, though the name has changed (with a change of ownership). The seafood and avocado salad was incredible. Also the lamb - juicy and perfectly seasoned. Everything practically melted in my mouth. I'll definitely go back. Really a perfect place to pick some a la carte dishes to share with a partner and have a relaxed, memorably tasty dinner.

A lovely, small restaurant in a residential neighborhood. We booked it for exclusive use that day. Many dishes looked charming, and every one was delicious without a single miss. Dishes we had •Marinated mushrooms •Seafood and avocado salad •Fritto of Pacific cod milt from 北海道 •Sautéed red sea bream with beurre blanc sauce •Roasted young duck breast from ブルターニュ •Strawberries and amanatsu marinated in caramel Coconut ice cream To drink, sparkling wine, white wine, and coffee. The seafood and avocado salad was delicious, living up to its reputation as the most popular dish! An appetizer combining several kinds of seafood and avocado; the smooth avocado went very well with the seafood on top. The duck breast had no gaminess and was tender and delicious too.

An utterly hidden French bistro. Lunch doria for 1300円. The salad comes in a pleasing little bowl, with dressing carefully distributed throughout—nice attention to detail. The flavor is simple and feels like you could eat it endlessly, so it makes sense they offer a salad lunch. The tuna doria with fried eggplant simmered in tomato is an unusual type where toasted breadcrumbs and rice stand out more than the fillings or sauce. Not what I expected, but it works. Comes with fairly strong iced coffee. Located in a residential area one street behind the main road. Maybe too hidden: no other customers, extremely quiet. What do I know, but it has a southern French port-town feel and is very comfortable.
