The food was on the richer, more flavourful side, but everything—from the pasta to the skirt steak—was delicious. We chose a course with all-you-can-drink, which made it a great value. All the staff were kind and helpful, and I had a wonderful time with my friend. Highly recommended!
View on GoogleBait and switch. I think the japanese call this bottakuri. The menu outside shows pasta dishes for 1000 yen so you think yeah great this is a deal. But the inside menu shows that price as a small appetizer sized dish. There is also a seating charge in very small print of 230 yen. For that you get 3 olives and a couple pieces of lettuce. They also have a 1 drink minimum. I would not have known since we both ordered drinks, but they wanted my child to order a drink. Overall the food was good service was ok. The long table they seated us at was cramped. I wonder if the small bottakuri is because the owner is Sakura trying to go straight. Just kidding.
View on GoogleWe stayed at Tokyu for 5 days and this is the restaurant for the hotel breakfast. The assortment is pretty decent but it gets boring by the 2nd day because the food spread remains the same everyday. Quality wise, they are fresh and and taste alright. Love the tomato juice that's about the only drink I take every morning. Mini croissants are lovely and crispy but they ran out fast by 9am and the owner said there's no more refill. Is it a buffet not? I still see some customers walking in after that but not much choice of food left.
View on GoogleWe came for the “Western-style” breakfast and paid ¥2,400 (around NZD 24) per person for the buffet. There were plenty of hot food options like bacon, fried chicken, sausages, and breaded fish. However, as a vegetarian, I found the options quite limited. By 7:40 am, there were no scrambled eggs or cheese left. When I asked, the waitress said they had run out, and that was it—no effort to restock or offer alternatives. In the end, I only had a cup of coffee and a plain croissant. Overall, it was not good value for money, and the customer service was disappointing. I would not recommend it.
View on GoogleCame here for a group dinner which was booked through ikkyu. We had 3 hours all you can drink, about 6 courses of food for 4500 yen. The food quality and what you got was good and the service was also great. Not sure this is a place I wouldn't come by myself but in a group and for that price it's great value. Definitely worth going as a team gathering location.
