It includes the signature 慶長 bite-sized okaki, plus 古乃端 shrimp, sesame, and more. ■古乃端アーモンド＠141 yen ---A store-exclusive item: puffy okaki with a light texture. A marriage of soy sauce glaze flavor and toasty almond. ■春山遊び＠216 yen ---A spring-limited item with okaki containing yomogi and cherry leaves. I bought it on the staff's recommendation, and it was the right call. ■ななこ（弐）＠216 yen　→　※Free with first-time LINE registration & coupon ---An assortment with Western touches like cheese and onion. I got it as a freebie by registering on LINE after a purchase (540 yen or more, tax incl.), and they let me choose from three kinds. Overall the okaki have a light texture, with a nice rice flavor—delicious. There's a wide variety of products, and many are available at low prices, so I think they're easy to use for all kinds of occasions. It was my first visit to the main store, and the staff were so kind and attentive that I could take my time choosing. They also kindly told me about the free okaki gift for registering on LINE. 【June 2024, takeout】 That day I stopped by here before dinner in Akasaka. I figured I'd get some takeout to enjoy at home. The shop is lined with many kinds of okaki, mizu yokan, and more—just looking is fun. From among them, I took home ・おかき ななこ 夏 216 yen x2 ・生水羊羹 356 yen x2 of each. At home, I enjoyed the "okaki" and then the "fresh mizu yokan," in that order. The great thing about the "okaki" is that one small bag contains many varieties. Each one's flavor and texture was good, but I especially liked the nori okaki and the coarse-sugar one. The quality is clear from a single bite. The "fresh mizu yokan" is a jiggly mizu yokan; the bean paste is substantial, yet it feels very refreshing. I thought it beautifully balanced what seem like opposites. As expected of a famous Akasaka shop—reliable okaki and mizu yokan. Thanks for the treats.

A friend gave me a gift of stylish senbei in cute packaging. The taste is good, but above all the design is just adorable. The packaging can be carried like a bag and has a festival-stall (ennichi) theme, and besides the senbei there was a small uchiwa fan labeled as a "menu" listing the lineup of senbei products. I think whoever planned these senbei has great taste and a rich sensibility. As the person receiving the gift, it feels like a thoughtfully crafted product, which makes me happy. The friend who chose it also has great taste, so I thought, as expected of her, and felt I rediscovered what a wonderful person she is. They say knowledge fills a room with all kinds of precious and beautiful treasures, and I believe the refined taste of my friend and the planner is a beautiful treasure of life experience cultivated over many years.
