油そば専門店めんめんAbura Soba Senmonten Menmen
Opened November 2023. Everything handmade, prepped daily. The tare combines clear pork broth with katsuo karebushi for a standard taste with sharpness and depth. Inspired by the aroma of old-fashioned chuka soba, aiming for a bowl anyone can enjoy without ever tiring of it—a new yet nostalgic abura soba. Goes perfectly with rice too. The noodles come from Musashino's legendary Maruhachi Seimen and are carefully stored in a wine cellar. Something you'll want to eat anytime, again and again—aiming for the ultimate "ordinary."

We had an original soba and hot oil one. The noodles are little harder but I like the tastes. And the oil smell great especially you can have any seasoning you want on the table. The hot oil one is delicious too but I like the original one better. We had a max topping with more grilled pork belly, That’s awesome. And the cook is so nice and hospitality with us.
View on GoogleNice place for abura soba. The food is nice and simple, but nothing that will make you say WOW! The table are really small, it's better if you seat on the counter. I really like this place, I come back to eat here time to time.
View on GoogleThis abura soba (mixed noodle) shop is located just north of Tamachi station. They will charge you extra noodles, so went for the standard size. If you are hungry, best to go for a medium size or add a side of rice. Abura soba is very simple, but if you mix the abura (oil) well, you are in for a treat. They don't have a variety of options, but I'd like to test to spicy Sichuan style next time. Crowd Size: Average Payment Method: Credit Card
View on GoogleVisited for dinner on a weekday. Tamachi has two abura soba shops in front of the station, but one of them closes after 9 p.m., so the other one can get crowded and you sometimes have to wait, which is why this time I deliberately made my first visit to めんめん. There were no other customers when I came in, and I bought tickets for the spicy abura soba and 5 slices of chashu from the ticket machine. Water is self-service at your seat. After I came in, customers kept coming in one after another, so maybe it varies a bit depending on the time of day. The tabletop seasonings are really abundant, and personally I liked the shiitake vinegar, which adds richness and umami. The chili oil is slightly on the spicy side. Just one sprinkle of garlic was enough to spread its flavor. The chashu wasn't dry at all, and I enjoyed it together with the noodles. And above all, the finishing soup at the end was delicious. The dashi really comes through, and it's reason enough to come to this shop. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleThe ticket machine accepts various payment services such as cash and credit cards. Counter seats only. They have a wide variety of tabletop seasonings. You can enjoy everything from changing up the flavor to the finishing course. It's the kind of abura soba that makes you think "yes, this is what abura soba is," and I think the balance is very good. The style is that when it starts to lack punch if you keep eating it as is, you add tabletop seasonings. The Kara-Shibi has a solid punch from the start and plenty of numbing heat, so you don't need to change the flavor much, and it goes well with rice or the finishing soup. The finishing soup is delicious. When I poured the soup into the Kara-Shibi, I could enjoy it like tantanmen soup. It was delicious. Please let me stop by again.
