The restaurant's name '八十港' reflects its commitment to honoring traditions, while also embracing a new beginning. You can tell the owner really cares about making food perfect, even though it’s tough to find the right stuff for Cantonese dishes in Japan. The shrimp dumplings are juicy and shiny, and the wonton noodle soup makes you feel good with its tasty, homemade soup. In Tokyo, where it’s not easy to get ingredients for Cantonese cooking, but they shows us that making amazing food is not just about what you use, but also about the love and hard work that goes into each meal.

The food is so good. Reminds me of the food in Hong Kong. Love the wonton noodle, noodle with the crunch and wonton had a good texture. The daily soup I order is just like soup I would make at home. Can’t wait to go back.

★★★★★ While vacationing in Japan, I was craving Hong Kong café food and found this gem through YouTube. The owners are from Hong Kong and were so warm and friendly — I instantly felt at home. The food was absolutely delicious with very authentic Hong Kong flavors. Highly recommend if you’re missing a true HK café experience!
