We stayed at Remm Roppongi and this is short 5 to 10 minute walk from the hotel. Even better, you get to walk through a lovely park. We loved this place so much after finding it on the first day we were in Tokyo that all of us agreed we had to come back and we did on our last day in Tokyo. Really good food, awesome service. The souffle pancakes were to die for. We all liked the savory chicken pancake and I liked the matcha one too. But honestly they were all great. itte kimasu!
View on GoogleI arrived Sunday morning a little over opening time and could be seated right away. Pancake took a little over half an hour (as is stated on menu), but also my drink took almost 20 minutes to arrive. I found that a bit long for the drink. I missed flavor in both my chai tea latte and matcha pancake, but visual very nice. Texture of the pancake was lovely! There was no syrup on the table, which I'm used to seeing at other pancake places. A couple on the table next to me, had their pancakes delivered at 2 different times, one almost cold I think before the other arrived.. I did see other menu items I want to give a try, and I like the quiet area. I want to come back, but hoping my review might help you decide if you want to try it out too 😊 Ordering via QR code, but no wifi offered.
View on GoogleWe wanted to see what all the hype was about so we picked 512 Cafe & Grill for fluffy pancakes. It’s rated well on Tabelog and they earn it! We had the Strawberry, Classic and Matcha and would rank them in that order. The pancakes are delicious, light and fluffy and despite a good portion size are not that filling (family of four). There are many places in Japan that do fluffy pancakes and while I can’t speak to them all I can say this place is fantastic! Go Here!
View on Google512 Café & [Grill] is a café located in Akasaka residential area, within short walking distance from Hinokicho Park. The restaurant is famous for its sweets and pancakes which are often paired with ice cream. Many customers, especially younger customers, seem to love its green-tea pancakes and sweet potato pancakes. Restaurant also serves rather simple lunch selections, with ramen, salad, and few other dishes. Restaurant does serve alcohol, including beer, House Red and White wines. For myself, I do enjoy its grilled chicken breast salad when its chicken is tender with moisture and not dry. It has sitting sections inside restaurant and at annex outside. In lunch time, restaurant can be crowded. While it is possible to have table at lunch time without reservation, it is strongly recommended for customers to have table reservation in advance. The staffs are friendly and courteous, and they are relatively speedy in assigning the tables to customers who did not make reservation in advance, while they also clean the tables fast when customer left.
View on GoogleThis spot is an absolute must-visit for an incredible breakfast. You order from QR code on table. The chicken and pancakes combo was amazing, featuring a rich, sour-cream-style dollop and a genius buildup of a crispy hash brown and hot sauce right on the bottom pancake. The matcha pancake was perfect and not too sweet, pairing beautifully with the matcha ice cream, alongside a fresh strawberry pancake and some great crunchy French toast. Also have an amazing cappuccino.
