This sleek design hub co-created by Tadao Ando and Issey Miyake is well worth a visit just to appreciate the stunning physical structure. They usually run multiple exhibitions simultaneously across different rooms. Dropped by Gallery 3 for the current Gaudí architectural exhibition, which was highly engaging and totally free to enter. The main ticketed exhibition ("Soup as Life") wasn't quite my cup of tea so I passed on it, but the freedom to browse the satellite galleries at your own pace makes it a very flexible and worthwhile cultural stop.

Great little museum. We saw Natsumi Toyoma’s exhibit on “soup”. Wonderful and a great way to spend this rainy day. The cherry blossoms around the park and the green space outside their doors are equally worth viewing.

I had the opportunity to see the exhibition at 21_21 DESIGN SIGHT, where it unfolded as a poetic and thought‑provoking exploration of food—centered on soup as a dialogue with nature. The exhibition considered nourishment as a fundamental human practice that transcends geographical and cultural boundaries, while reimagining the table as a space of encounter, exchange, and shared meaning. Through its sensory and conceptual depth, the museum context enhanced an immersive experience that invited reflection on social bonds, cultural traditions, and the imaginative dimensions of eating.

A must visit if you are fans of both Issey and Tado Ando! And we caught the exhibition titles Soup on its last day. A wonderful start to the day!

The architecture is worthwhile the visit. The museum is nothing special and in my opinion you could skip this place.
