A nice teishoku restaurant around Meguro station. Variety of menus from seafood bowl, chicken katsu, fish, and so on Ordered chicken namban with regular size with half boiled egg. The portion is huge and I even found it difficult to finish it. Price-wise is not the cheapest but considering the amount of food we get and the place, this is actually good.

Decent shokudo (casual) restaurant, located on the west side of Meguro station. Variety of meal options, from chicken and pork to fish and seafood. Large portions. Crispy and tasty chicken nanban.

You can have a meal set at a reasonable price even during night time. Nice to have such a place especially when you eat alone.

I visited this restaurant twice. It is a prepaid restaurant, which means no one can eat without paying in advance. What a smart way to make sure every customer pays! There were no servers bringing food to the tables. Just like at McDonald’s, customers have to pick up their own food. Actually, even McDonald’s sometimes brings your food to your table, so this restaurant may have beaten McDonald’s when it comes to cutting labor costs. LOL. On my first visit, I ordered grilled fish with brown rice for about 1,000 yen. The portion was so-so, but the food was good. The second time, I ordered taco rice with a large serving of rice for around 1,500 yen. Not bad! When I lived in Houston, Texas, Mexican food was often cheaper than Japanese food. Here in Japan, however, Mexican food can be surprisingly expensive. What a difference! One thing I especially liked was the window seating. From my seat, I could look out at the street and see the Picasso discount store. I usually visit restaurants by myself, so this lonely guy enjoys watching the streets or YouTube videos while eating. (Smile) This restaurant was a little more expensive than Yoshinoya, but I could enjoy a cozy, almost VIP-like atmosphere with a view of Picasso. LOL. Arigato!

目黒駅から歩いてすぐの場所にある定食屋さんで、気軽にしっかりご飯を食べたいときにおすすめのお店です。店内はセルフサービス形式で、食堂のようなカジュアルな雰囲気。自分でおかずを選ぶスタイルなので、その日の気分や体調に合わせて食事を組み合わせられるのが嬉しいポイントです。 メニューは肉料理だけでなく魚料理やヘルシーなメニューも豊富で、バランスの良い食事ができるのが魅力。特に豚汁がとても美味しく、具だくさんで満足感があります。豚汁がおかわりできるプランもあるので、寒い日やしっかり食べたいときにはぴったりだと思います。 おかず一つ一つも丁寧に作られていて、家庭的な味わいで美味しかったです。目黒駅から近くアクセスも良いので、ランチや仕事帰りの食事にも利用しやすいお店だと思います。
