The lunch menu is quite nice and not crazy expensive. ¥2200 for the 1.5 person set. I forget the exact number of nigiri. The last thing they served was 6 pcs cucumber roll. As someone who does not like cucumber this made me a bit sad but my friend said it was really good so he ate my portion 😆 Definitely a nice place to get sushi.

A sushi place that isn't conveyor-belt, easy to pop into and delicious, with reasonably affordable prices… I know those are selfish conditions, but I'd been looking for a sushi place like that around here for ages, and this place had high ratings, so I visited for the first time at lunch. I arrived around 11:45 and there were no customers, so I thought I'd have the counter all to myself! But then people came streaming in, and before I knew it, it was nearly full. I thought, this looks promising! and ate the sushi one piece at a time as it was served. My impression… I think the toppings were good, but as sushi, it wasn't really to my taste. Everyone's comments are pretty positive, and I'd read comments saying the lunch is the best value! so I wondered if maybe my palate is the problem, At 1540 yen for one lunch portion, the amount is a bit lacking, but since they use expensive toppings, I guess that's how it is… it ended up being quite hard to rate. Given the location, I think there are many neighborhood customers and regulars, but for me, since my expectations were a bit high, it ended up being a bit disappointing.

An authentic sushi restaurant located between Naka-Meguro and Meguro. It's a hidden-gem spot a little away from the station, but it's a great shop that stands out for its fresh toppings and great value! You can enjoy authentic sushi at reasonable prices, and the lunch nigiri for one is under 2,000 yen. Besides having them make it omakase, you can also order additional toppings you like. The atmosphere is calm with a striking plain-wood counter, and the friendly chef's personality adds to the nice vibe too!

A neighborhood sushi shop. I happened to find it and have kept coming back for 14 years now. In the middle of the sushi bubble, with so many sushi places over 3-4万円, they offer everything from 3,300-yen nigiri for one (only) to omakase courses. I love this place where I can just drop in whenever I feel like eating some sushi rice. Of course it falls short compared to hard-to-book high-end places, but being able to keep going in the same spot for 15 years shows it has that much value and love.
