An old school local Chinese restaurant offering delicious and cheap set meals. It was popular with tradesman and is certainly more 'casual' compared to other restaurants in the area. The clerk was friendly despite some reviews saying otherwise. The food was not at all too salty either.
View on GoogleMy first visit here, a neighborhood Chinese restaurant standing on its own in the upscale residential areas of 深沢 and 八雲. Today I ordered the fried rice and half-ramen lunch set. The seasoning was good, and the other set meals were tempting too, but I’ll save them for next time. It’s run by just a mother and her son? and they don’t have strangers share tables, so it seems likely to get busy at lunchtime. I’m grateful you can have lunch for under 1000円. There aren’t many places to eat nearby, so this is extremely handy! Thank you for the meal😋
View on GoogleLunch C タンメン + half rice 930円 Yesterday at lunchtime, I happened to be visiting 八雲 in 目黒区 for my second business meeting with someone from 🇺🇸, so I ordered 『Lunch C』 here. A タンメン and half-rice set. Vegetable price increases have settled down considerably, and I’m delighted to be able to eat vegetables without feeling bad for the restaurant. I liked having タンメン as part of a lunch set. After all, I’m usually used to eating タンメン at 有明食堂, so I’d been longing for authentic タンメン😍 A wealth of vegetables come together: green and yellow vegetables (komatsuna, scallions, carrots, napa cabbage), bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, and mushrooms (king oyster, shimeji, wood ear). This looks delicious. The noodles are flat and medium-thick, and the soup is a pure clear broth. The saltiness and vegetable bouillon blend beautifully into the clear broth and taste delicious. This is what タンメン should be〜. The choice of colorful vegetables shows the cook’s good taste. This really was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it💖 The interior was clean too, and the earnest couple’s service made a good impression✨
View on GoogleThe food is delicious, and the portions are ample. Yet the prices are gentle on the wallet, which I really appreciate. With a simple interior and simple service, I make sure to visit at least 1 time every week. This week I went 2 times. By the way, the summer-only 冷やし中華 is extremely delicious. (Photo)
View on GoogleA reliably nostalgic flavor. A neighborhood Chinese restaurant where you can eat your fill for under 1000円. A neighborhood Chinese restaurant along 自由通り in the 八雲 district. Recently, this street has had many excellent establishments, such as JOLT THE COFFEE serving delicious coffee, and 笠井, whose chef came from TACBO. Among them, 小洞天 is a neighborhood Chinese restaurant loved by locals. While many ramen shops charge over 1000円, you can enjoy a lunch set here for under 1000円. This time we had gyoza, うまにそば, and ramen. The ramen has a simple chicken-bone broth base, topped with scallions, well-seasoned チャーシュー, and wakame. When wakame is included, its umami gradually dissolves into the soup and changes the flavor. Personally, I like the broth as it is, so even at other restaurants, I eat the wakame first if it’s included. It’s precisely because the ramen is simple that its flavor makes you want it again. The gyoza are simple too. They have a little garlic, and the outside is nicely browned and crisp. The wrappers are chewy and delicious. The うまにそば is soy sauce ramen generously topped with vegetables in a thick, salt-seasoned sauce. Piping hot to the very end! The bean sprouts are crisp and delicious too. Both the price and flavor make it easy to enjoy casually, so I’d like to return.
