Nothing special but a cozy place. They accept PayPay for cashless payment.

I have been to one of Japan's most famous tempura shops in Kyoto. The kind of place where five star hotels tell you that you should go to and make all the arrangements. It was delicious but nothing like Shibata Honten. There are days when I dream about the soba set which includes an egg custard and tempura. There is really nothing like this place, I have introduced older Japanese that were blown away. Go here and enjoy top quality food.

I am always on the lookout for restaurants that taste like home cooking. This place had amazing food quality at a great price. It was exactly my kind of place. I loved each meal every time I visited.

We enjoyed having an authentic meal where locals eat. The food was great and the staff were helpful. We were offered an English menu.
