The biggest ramen I have ever tried. Not just big but also delicious. I would like to make a special mention about pork, I am sincere If I say that I never tried a good pork like this one. The soup was also super tasty.
View on GoogleIf you add the 'yasai mashi' (extra vegetables) topping, a large amount of bean sprouts will be piled on top of your ramen, as shown in the picture. I believe this is one of the few Jiro-kei ramen shops that tastes better than some of the Jiro ramen branches. However, be aware that during lunch or dinner hours, the line can get long, and you might have to wait for over an hour.
View on GoogleVery voluminous, oily, garlic, caloric jiro-type ramen. The food quality is great and the price is worth its taste unless you dislike the jiro ramen. This ramen shop is always full of people so the staff made their own rule to run the business efficiently and keep the place quietly. The problem is that the first visitors (including my first visit) do not well recognize about the rule. If someone breaks the rule such as playing smartphone games, the staff get upset and say “No phones while eating”. Although you do not make them angry, you can leave the shop only with the good experience. But if something wrong happens, you will eat ramen having the bad feelings. It feels like I just focus on telling the bad things about the shop, but my point is you might have bad experience. Other than that, the food is very good and I recommend to visit this place!
View on GoogleVery good Jiro inspired ramen shop near Higashi Kitazawa station. The hiyashi chuka, which is only available in the summer, is definitely my favorite thing on the menu. Definitely worth the hour wait
View on GoogleGreat Ramen. Thick and salty broth. If you live in the area, come back another day when it is less crowded. (or early in service) The noodles are special and make it a full success.
