Went for lunch on a Wednesday (during the start of Golden Week) without any reservations. Queued 30 minutes before opening with 4 groups ahead of us. At opening, a female staff came out to ask each group for the number of people to be seated. Once you’re led in, she’ll tell you what level to head to for your table. Head there and there’ll be staff to point you to your assigned seating. The entire restaurant is decorated with Beatles memorabilia and cosy lighting. There’s an English menu available so don’t hesitate to ask for it. We got the Margherita and Bianca pizzas (the only other pizza option available was Marinara, not sure if it’s different during dinner service), along with drinks and their house-made Tiramisu. The food arrived fairly quickly after we ordered. We personally preferred the Bianca to the Margherita. Both pizzas had chewy salted crusts and were pretty good, but they were’t mind-blowing 😅. The tiramisu is not the traditional kind you’d expect - it was gooey and not too sweet, served parfait-style in a cup. We left an hour after being seated, and the queue was fairly long (around 15-20 people). Do remember that their lunch hour ends around 2PM, so you might want to head early to try your luck ☺️. We would return again if there weren’t any queues ✨!
View on GooglePizza dough was excellent as described and as it should be. Soft and chewy, great bite and texture. Topping tasted fresh. Cheese was mid, didn’t really add flavor besides adding texture. Bianca was slightly on the saltier side. Service was prompt. For the price, it was alright.
View on GoogleThe pizza is a big disappointment considering this is a tabelog top 100 place. The cheese spilt a little in my pizza and I cannot taste the a good quality flour aroma or the chew. When there is only 2-3 ingredients on a pizza, there is no place to hide. The pasta is al dente and pretty good. Good deco for The Beatles fan.
View on GoogleMust go! Just one guy making a couple of the best Neapolitan pizzas you'll ever try. Go early eve or early lunch or they'll sell out/ get busy! The flavors were incredible, despite the simplicity. The base was super thin with a beautifully soft crust. We sat at the bar on front of him, but they have a cute little restaurant 🍕🍕🍕
View on GoogleOverrated spot. The pizza we ordered was ok, very average. For the price it wasn’t worth it for me. Reservations are by phone, we were able to get seated without reservation and it wasn’t a long wait for lunch hours. The interior was interesting with multiple levels. Waitress also told us we could only place order once, it’s a small space so I can understand.
