Relaxed branch of the Seattle cafe brand, located within the Institute. Friendly staff.
View on GoogleA café a few minutes' walk from Ookayama Station, on the campus of Institute of Science Tokyo☕️ It's so open and calm you'd never think it's inside a university. There's terrace seating too, so I could take my time✨ I recommend it as a bit of a hidden-gem café☺️
View on GoogleThree kinds of light meal and drink sets. They grind the coffee beans in-store, and the hot coffee has a solid flavor and bitterness, delicious ◯ The iced tea also has a solid flavor and is delicious ◯ Apparently hot and iced tea use different tea leaves ◯ The pizza margherita and spinach chicken panini were tasty ◯ The panini wasn't heated enough and was cold × The pizza and panini portions are on the small side, so the sets suit times when you're a little peckish. Mac & cheese is apparently scheduled to return in autumn, since the cheese hardens when it's hot. Non-students generally use the outdoor terrace seats rather than indoor seats. In the morning it seems to be in the building's shade, without direct sunlight ◯ There are 3 locations: Ochanomizu University, Nagoya University, and here. The point card gives 1 stamp per ¥500 or more, redeemable for a tumbler or one drink ◯
View on GoogleA café on the Tokyo Tech campus. This time I was allowed to use the inside, but non-students can normally use the outdoor terrace. Prices are quite reasonable, perhaps because they're aimed at students, and on top of that they offer a cheaper lunch set with a drink. I think the terrace would be really pleasant on a nice day.
View on GoogleIt said people unrelated to Tokyo Tech can eat and drink here too, so I hurried over. A brief taste of simulated campus life. I liked that the prices are set for students. Supports various contactless card payments. Seattle-style cafés tend to be high in calories, so be careful not to overdo it, but it seems like good fuel for students who use their brains like crazy.
