An older interior that's hard to describe, with simple flavors. It feels comforting. It's not the sort of place you'd say ranks among Tokyo's top ramen shops! But I recommend it when you just feel like having ramen.
View on GoogleMy first visit. I ordered hiyashi chuka and small gyoza. The food arrived in about 8 minutes. The gyoza wrappers were limp and not sealed, so they weren't great. The hiyashi chuka was tasty with lots of toppings. The shredded egg omelet looked meager, which was a little disappointing. A Dosanko that still retains a Showa-era feel.
View on GoogleSapporo ramen with a gentle flavor. Of course, I always order miso, but the noodles are on the soft side. It might not suit younger people, but it's a comforting taste. The yakisoba is also recommended.
View on GoogleWow, how nostalgic. The owner here is Tetsuo Kawakami, who won the grand prix in Shoji Yamafuji's caricature section in Shukan Asahi over 20 years ago. No wonder he's good at drawing—apparently he painted all the pictures inside the shop himself too. Might be worth going to see them once?
View on GoogleI ordered miso ramen and a half portion of chahan. The miso ramen was miso soup with overcooked noodles, and the chahan tasted of curry—how is that chahan? The shop was unhygienic too. Never again.
