Very good ramen, tucked away in a bougiefying residential area, grandfathered in from the Showa era? Tonkatsu style (Kumamoto?), a little milky, good taste, not salty. Thin noodles, slightly chewy; char sui neither thick nor thin; pink picked ginger; some kind of wood ear-type mushroom. With the lunch set also four very fresh and tasty shumai. Tucked away in a bougiefying residential area, grandfathered in from the Showa era?Ate in the little lean-to outside, our first al fresco experience here, on a beautiful early May day. Not crowded for a late lunch, perhaps also because Golden Week Tuesday. Very kind grandmother. At 950 yen, good cost performance.

Great local spot, if you are in Meguro it is a must visit. I enjoyed the shumai as well. Ask the boss about baseball!
