A throwback review ” for this legendary cake shop. It was absolutely worth traveling out of town for! The flavors are still unforgettable, and you can instantly taste the premium quality of their ingredients. Arnaud: A masterpiece of contrasting textures that blend harmoniously. It is perfectly sweet, filled with a rich aroma of chocolate and cream, finished with a subtle hint of orange. The chocolate is flawlessly tempered, allowing your spoon to glide through effortlessly. Savarin Vin Rouge: A more complex flavor profile featuring a beautiful balance of red wine and orange. The pastry is incredibly soft, perfectly soaked, and juicy.

I followed the locals lining up without knowing this is a famous pastry shop in this area. Yet surprisingly the pastries is so good, the cake have different layers and it’s giving textured flavours in your mouths. But I will best recommend their bread especially their croissant, it’s like an art, beautifully made and tastes amazing. It’s worth coming if u can handle lining up over an hour, I read that people line up 2h+ after an hour the shop opens but luckily I just waited for 1h+. Better make a reservation next time!

They deliver an authentic, high-end French cafe experience. The staffs are well trained and the service is really professional. The artistry of their pastries is breathtaking. The glossy deep chocolate creation is a stunning structural masterpiece, flanked by crisp chocolate panels and topped with fresh blackberries and a delicate, crunchy tuile. The rich, multi-layered textures across all their cakes are incredible. Whether it's a vibrant citrus-crowned cake, a perfectly piped caramel-coffee Saint-Honoré, or a glossy strawberry tart, every single item strikes a flawless balance between aesthetic beauty and intense flavor. To anchor all this sweetness, their hot black coffee is an absolute must-order. Served with a beautiful crema in a sleek white cup, it offers a robust, deeply satisfying roast that cleanly cuts through the rich creams and chocolates of the desserts😍

JAN 2026 Came here ten minutes before opening time and was able to get a table when they opened. Dine-in requires a drink order per person and they only accept cash payment. I ordered two cakes and a hot café latte which took a little over ten minutes to arrive. Their signature Arnaud cake is a milk chocolate hazelnut cake paired with a hint of orange flavor in the cream. The dacquoise base consist of crispy feuilletine and crunchy hazelnuts which added some texture to the cake. The flavors were well balanced and was not too sweet; very tasty. The Saint-Honoré caramel on the other hand was a bit too sweet for me. The choux puffs are filled with a custard cream which was ok but the combination of the thick caramelized sugar top and the caramel cream was too rich and heavy. The café latte was strong and did not taste milky at all; very good coffee. Overall it was one hit and one miss for me.

Everyone already knows Paris S’éveille is good. You don’t need another food review from me to convince you to go. I’m only here to offer a few warnings. First, think twice before bringing your kids, unless you’re prepared for them to reject ordinary chocolate for the rest of their lives. Second, if you’re visiting as a tourist, be careful. It’s dangerous to know that you can get this level of quality at such a friendly price. Finding something comparable elsewhere is difficult. Now, let’s talk about Le Supreme. The delicacy of the chocolate is astonishing. So thin, so fragile, it shatters at the slightest touch, the way all beautiful things seem to. The fruitiness of the chocolate dances across my tongue, seeping inward, so lush and concentrated that I have to pause after each bite and take a breath. Then the blackberry jam bursts in, like a bright, lively, carefree teenage girl, instantly lights up the entire room. On top, the nutty crisp asserts itself with authority. It briefly pulls you out of the chocolate’s immersive embrace, only to drench you in a deeper wave of roasted richness. Perfectly toasted, deeply caramelized, the nuttiness blooms and lingers.
