Oishi! We had quite a fair bit of organs (which is not something I’ll eat) but the liver or stomach doesn’t have any smell to it. Yakitori - unagi was nice. Chicken skewer too, mince chicken have cartilage in them. Chicken wing was cooked with salt? Chicken head meat was also served? Not sure which part exactly but it was good. Overall, it’s a good drinking place.
View on GoogleVisited on Saturday at 17:00. At this time about 70% of the seats were filled. I was shown to the counter, which has space on top to put your bags. (Much appreciated.) The interior gives a clean impression. The style is that you write your order on the paper on the table and hand it in. The menu was quite varied, but I ordered the classics: motsu-ni, tsukune, tongue, kashiwa, eel skewers, etc. (I left tare or salt up to them.) The motsu-ni was tender and tasty, but the silken tofu was so soft I couldn't pick it up with chopsticks! And the flavor hadn't soaked in either. No particular impressions about the grilled skewers. There were 4 staff that day, so drinks came out right after ordering, which was nice.
View on GoogleThe food is delicious and the service is good. The food comes out super fast, very satisfying. If I get the chance, I'll come again☺️ Thank you for the meal🇯🇵🤍
View on GoogleThe variety of motsu itself isn't that large, but the pieces are fairly big, and the skewers I ate were above standard in quality. The stew isn't seasoned with a punchy, strong flavor but rather gently. Still, I didn't sense any gaminess. Food is ordered by writing on paper; drinks are ordered verbally.
View on GoogleSkewers at 140 yen and grilled vegetables at 150 yen—just super cheap! The vegetables are actually pricier than the meat. No flattery: every skewer is excellent in both doneness and saltiness, truly delicious. The hatsu (heart) seems limited in quantity and sells out quickly, so it's best to visit right at the 16:00 opening. The tebasaki (chicken wings) are also perfectly salted, piping hot and delicious. The liver has absolutely no gaminess, is grilled perfectly, and has no harsh aftertaste. The liver smothered in green onions is incredibly good, so don't forget that one either. The nankotsu is like finely chopped cartilage mixed throughout the meat—a sensation I'd never had before. Among the grilled vegetables, the shiitake is a must. The à la carte dishes are all delicious too, and even with eating and drinking it comes to about 3,000 yen per person. I'll definitely be back.
