This was my favourite ramen whilst in Japan! We were recommended by a local chef where we went for a high end meal the day before. It was only locals here, you had to have the right cash to pay and order using the machine. It was fantastic for the price too! A bowl of ramen was about £6 and was massive. You get free rice too so can enjoy that with the leftover liquid! 😍🫶🏻
View on GoogleThis is a really well-balanced Iekei ramen spot—I’m a big fan. And get this: rice is free! (But it’s ¥500 if you leave any.) You can also help yourself to some pickled cucumbers.
View on GoogleThis is my type of ramen. Salty, oily and fatty. This place usually has line but its not a long wait, Ramen is a must even in the hot summer weather. Also this comes with a bowl of rice if you wanted to! For 950 yen this is a must try spot! But only if you like salty food cause this is salty but even tho it is I cant stop sipping the soup😶
View on Google3/2025 Update: Its actually pretty good haha. The char siu and noodles as previously noted are still great. The soup? Not as salty as before, but not because the store did anything different, but simply because my palette has adapted to the higher salt content in Japanese food. Bumping it up to 4 stars to be fair, I enjoyed it. -------- Soup: bit too salty Noodles: nice Charsiu: great Toppings: very nice Free rice: nice Free rice + soup: really nice Price: under ¥1000, nice
View on GoogleI wanted to try it because there’s always a line outside. It’s open very late as well and even then there’s usually a big line! You go in and order from the ticket machine then wait outside for them to call you. There are a couple tables and a wall of counter seats inside. I got the spicy Chinese ramen in medium size. Even though it’s medium, it was so big! I think if you are not that hungry and for many women, the small size would be enough. Especially if you want to try to ramen with the bowl or refillable rice. If you’re used to eating spicy food, the spicy ramen wasn’t that spicy. But there are a few seasonings on the table so you can adjust it. The ramen had spinach as a topping which was unique and good! Also the walls are covered in the autographs from celebrities who visited. Where I was sitting was mostly EXILE tribe members! Maybe because LDH office is nearby? I think EXILE fans will enjoy it!
