Abura soba is turning into one of my favorites, so I wanted to try this place. It’s super residential but part of a chain of restaurants. The menu is fairly simple, and I opted for the set meal, which included noodles, rice bowl with chashu, and super for 1000 yen. The noodles were great and the mini rice bowl delicious. Don’t forget to add the vinegar and other oils/spices to your liking. Friendly service too.

This is a very local restaurant located deep in a residential area of meguro. I’ve noticed this small hole-in-the-wall, but never had a chance to stop by until today. This is not ramen, but more like “dry” noodles with flavored chillin oils and sauces. The noodles are thick and chewy, and a little twisty to get more oils and sauces with each scoop of noodles. The vinegar should be a little stronger, but overall it’s very tasty with the various toppings. The price is a bit expensive for what it is in my opinion. But it’s in the neighborhood and a nice walk, so I think I would stop by again.

Excellent place for 'dry' ramen (i.e. soupless). There is no English menu (as at 14 Jan 2018) however the chef is very helpful with his recommendation. Great place for a quick lunch ramen by yourself or a quiet dinner with a small group of friends.

The 麻辣油そば are absolutely moreishly delicious, especially with an added onsen egg! The guys who run it are friendly and nice. A delight to have in the neighbourhood.
