When I called to book around 18:00 on Saturday, there were only about 9 seats inside, so I was initially shown outside and started drinking standing up. I had hardly any experience with standing bars, but it was very comfortable, the atmosphere was great, and I had a good time. About 6 people can stand in a row outside. After about 30 minutes, I was told an indoor seat had opened up and was invited inside. The young chicken fried without batter was very delicious. Personally, I also recommend the fermented salted squid🦑

2026.04 Visited alone around 18:30 on Friday and drank standing outside. There are counter seats inside, and smoking is allowed. I ordered 「young chicken fried without batter 1490円」「potato salad 400円」「liver 260円」「salt-grilled hearts 290円」and「bottled beer 630円」. I drank beer and ate potato salad while waiting for the grilled dishes. The potato salad tasted ordinary, and the fried young chicken was so plain that I wanted salt, spices, or something to change the flavor. The meat juices were sweet and delicious, but the fried chicken took over 20 minutes to arrive (explained beforehand). Partway through, I tried sprinkling sansho on it, but it barely changed the flavor… There was no salt at the outdoor counter, but there was salt in the condiment set inside. There was no need to eat the chicken so lightly salted, so next time I’ll ask for salt right away. Afterward, I ordered 「金宮焼酎 180ml950円」and「bottled ume 220円」. The bottled ume was tasty, and one bottle seemed enough for 2 drinks. With some shochu left, I took a 「bottled lemon 220円」and tried it, but it tasted like クッピーラムネ and was very unpleasant. The bill was about 4700円. The fried young chicken gets monotonous and boring as you eat, so I might skip it next time. Next time, I’d like to drink 「bottled beer 630円」while eating 「鶏わさ (large) 1180円」「正肉 240円」and, if I feel like it, 「鶏煮込み (large) 790円」.

I’d heard there’s usually always a queue, so I was lucky to get in without waiting. The young chicken fried without batter (half chicken), fried to order, is delicious. Piping hot, with a crisp coating and juicy thigh and wing portions. I didn’t notice this time, but the set with 「せすじ素揚げ」, which includes the neck portion, is overwhelmingly better value. The grilled skewers are delicious too. The grilling is superb. Also, the 鳥ワサ is pleasantly different from elsewhere. You can enjoy this juicy meat soaking in its broth.

The chicken fried without batter is soooo good!!!!🥹 Crispy skin and juicy😊 It takes about 25 minutes, and it’s their specialty, so ordering it is a must! So satisfied😘 Was the other dish chicken tenderloin marinated in wasabi soy sauce? That was delicious too!
