A teahouse with a very authentic Japanese vibe. The staff are friendly, and the cozy ambience makes it a place where I could easily spend an entire day. However, the crowd makes it difficult to fully enjoy the experience that way. I wouldn’t say the matcha is particularly impressive, but the desserts taste great and the prices are reasonable. Overall, it’s a pleasant spot worth visiting for the atmosphere and desserts.

Found a unique spot for traditional Matcha which also served delicious sweets to pair with the Matcha. Interior design retains the old Japanese house vibes as we sat down on the tatami floor to enjoy our afternoon tea! Thank you!

Nice house, long queue, very average matcha. The matcha was without much taste, powdery and the foam was gone quickly. Not worth the price and waiting half and hour. Dessert was yummy, the house is beautiful and they had some model railway behind the glass.

This is such a charming cosy corner in a neighbourhood that is quaint itself. It definitely induce serenity as I find myself whispering to my friend as soon as we are seated in the room. The matcha is good, but I ordered an anmitsu that blows my mind, the fresh and canned fruits melts harmoniously with the bean paste, jelly, and kuromitsu making this a real treat. Must visit on your Jiyugaoka sojourn.

Traditional tea house serving classic Japanese sweets and tea. The building is a beautiful traditional Japanese house with a marvelous garden, tatami floors, and floor seating (shoes off at the entrance). It can get crowded, so you may need to wait in line.
