Old style ramen shop offering a massive wonton chashu ramen. Loaded to the top with 6 chashu slices and 6 wontons, plus around 250 g of noodles (regular size). All along a clear soup based on a mix of meaty and fishy stuff; not too strong, perfect to allow you surviving to the end of the bowl. Wontons are flavorful, noodles are chewy and chashu is cut thickly. Fried shallots are available for free. What else? A fair price (1750¥) considering Tokyo and the great amount of toppings. The place is old-style but nice, with a good local ambience of friends, couples and late workers. The staff was extremely kind and the main waiter was really welcoming. I was offered an English menu and they made sure I felt comfortable, and I had enjoyed my visit. Ramen Beast scored it as 4.0/5.0; well, I believe it deserves more.
View on GoogleActually, came here just for Char Chu (Char Siu) which looks different from other shops. The edge of the slice Char Chu has a bit of red color. It tastes really good.. we found out every thing we ordered tastes good as well… Tan Tan Men, Tsukemen, Wonton, Gyuza and a small bowl of Braised Pork rice with Pickles. The price was reasonable!!
View on GoogleA nice local neighborhood ramen shop that does many Chinese style ramen really well. I had the Chashu Tantanmen (チャシュー担担麺) and it tasted very good. It had a nice nutty and creamy flavor. I felt it could have been a little bit more spicy though. The chashu was really nice 👍🏽 I also had the ルーロー飯 which is like a stewed pork rice bowl. It also asked very nutty and a bit peppery. It was very delicious. It was nice to use the rice and finished the rest of my tantanmen broth 🤤 The gyoza looked really good and I want to go back and try it!
View on GoogleRamen at this place was really good, and reasonably priced too. They have chasu and wonton available as options for your topping (both delicious), and shoyu or tantanmen bases. Prices between 800 and 1350 for a bowl depending on what your order. The chefs were nice, but the service from the waitress not so much. Worth a try if you're in the neighborhood. 😋🍜
