A restaurant further into the shopping street from 大岡山 Station I had the 蕎麦懐石 lunch Starter 3 small dishes: potato salad, konnyaku, cabbage Lightly seasoned, nice with drinks Sashimi Kinme, tuna, sea bream Chawanmushi These arrived first on a tray Salad Topped with fried soba Simmered dish Bamboo shoots and pork, perfectly seasoned. I dislike sweet flavors, but I could enjoy this gentle sweetness. I was happy to have seasonal bamboo shoots. Especially since they have been expensive lately Tempura What!? This much? A pleasant surprise! Soba The dipping sauce was delicious too; I added soba cooking water and drank it all A satisfying lunch! Definitely coming back! Thank you for the meal
View on GoogleA slightly pricey soba restaurant. The food is delicious, but service is slow. It is nice for adults having a quiet drink, but children might struggle if you come as a family. When I visited, the owner and a part-timer were running things. I couldn't help thinking service would be faster if the part-timer worked more efficiently. I understand chamame is expensive and portions are small, but it annoyed me when the part-timer dropped some without even apologizing (just said “ah” and left it at that). The prices are a little high, but the food is delicious and I really liked the soba, which made the serving speed and the part-timer's performance disappointing.

But an unremarkable bowl in a bad way💧 The other items were 2 tiny side dishes, miso soup, and chawanmushi: healthy deliciousness your body appreciates← The handmade soba in the せいろ was simply superb♥ The freshness, noodle shape, feel on the tongue, texture, and chill were exactly my thing! The dipping sauce had a wonderful soy sauce flavor that stood out even more than the dashi.
View on GoogleThe interior has a nice atmosphere, with table and counter seating. I ordered 天ぷらせいろ for 1700円 including tax. It came with 3 small dishes of hijiki, pickles, and dressed vegetables?, chawanmushi with a thick sauce and mochi barley, tempura, and soba. It looks nice, but the amount of soba is shockingly small, probably less than 1 serving. The soba dish itself is tiny! Apparently it is handmade that morning, so it tastes good, but I think it definitely wouldn't be enough for a man. I went with a grandmother over 90, and she finished the entire 天ぷらせいろ without leaving anything. I'd like a bit more soba. The tempura is crisp and all delicious; it included cauliflower tempura, which is unusual. Anyway, the amount of soba was unsatisfying.
View on GoogleI visited on an acquaintance's recommendation. I ordered the omakase course. Fitting the season, it featured bamboo shoots throughout, with refined, deeply flavorful dishes. This time I had assorted tempura, cutlassfish tempura, and kamameshi. The tempura here is crisp and very delicious. Better than the tempura at a long-established restaurant in Asakusa! They timed the frying of the tempura to finish just as the kamameshi was ready. That kind of consideration is really appreciated.
