Mediocre Japanese-Chinese noodle joint in Showa style social-stall setting. Could be a good option if you are visiting and want to chat with the owner, or just want some quick carbs really close to the station.
View on GoogleSmall corner shop that has set meals. I had some sanitation concerns (the chef/owner handled raw meat and then money without washing hands). Food wasn’t amazing, but good enough, although you would expect better for the price... Rice didn’t taste as high quality as it usually is in Japan. Would say overall it’s on par with Yoshinoya, but maybe a bigger portion.
View on GoogleIt was a very old ramen noodles house. From the moment you entered, you were back to the 60s, the chef, the cookingware, the deco and even the price. Ramen started from 560yen. Must try.
View on GoogleA top-notch place for taste, atmosphere, and service. As a Showa-era neighborhood ramen and set-meal shop, of course. I had the half ramen and half fried rice set, and both were right down the middle of the strike zone of what I was looking for. No complaints about the taste, and they served it very efficiently. And the prices are very reasonable. The services and discounts depending on the day are another nice point. If it were in my neighborhood, I'd be a regular. Of course, since it's a quintessential Showa shop, I think some people won't be able to accept its appearance, but for those who can enjoy it without minding that, I think it's a wonderful place. Thank you for the meal. I'll stop by again when I'm nearby.
View on Google2025.10.21 Visited during my lunch break! Inside, the V-shaped counter fits 5 people from each side! (2 customers ahead of me) A lovely, elegant madam does the cooking! The service is kind and it's very comfortable! Ordered the fried rice and ramen set for 1300 yen! The ramen arrived in about 7 minutes, then the fried rice! The ramen is a gentle, old-fashioned nostalgic ramen, and the chashu is nicely tasty too! The fried rice has a really good salt balance!! Delicious! I'd love to eat here again when I'm nearby〰
