"Nakayoshi" is rooted in the region, and cherishes "Japanese food" that is friendly to the customer's stomach and wallet, which you will never get tired of eating every day. The cuisine is mainly centered on set meals, serving carefully handmade dishes, as well as a wide variety of local sake and shochu. The menu is home cooking that everyone is familiar with such as fried chicken, nikujaga, meat tofu, grilled/boiled fish etc., but we serve Japanese food that starts from making dashi properly. You can eat set meals from lunch to night, and the rice cooked fluffy in a clay pot is free to refill. Meguro Gonnosukezaka branch is 5 minutes from Meguro Station! The set meals have good cost performance, and are recommended for both lunch and dinner. Female customers, solo customers too...

Dropped by this Japanese restaurant for lunch during office hours and was pleasantly surprised. The service was quick, and the food came out hot and fresh. Every dish was packed with flavor, and the miso soup was especially outstanding—rich and comforting. I enjoyed every bite and will definitely be returning. A heads-up: this place doesn’t accept cash, only e-money payments. If you visit in a group, you can conveniently split the bill digitally and pay separately for your own plate. A modern and efficient system paired with great food makes this a go-to spot for weekday lunches!

I’ve been to other branches of this restaurant and it never disappoints. There are a variety of options on the menu, with what appears to be monthly (?) specials. I went with the miso fish (さば) set, which was delicious. Everything was fresh. The upstairs vibe is cool, and the space itself is small but cozy. The service was fast and friendly. A great place to get a nice Japanese-style set meal.

Some of the best Japanese food I’ve had in Tokyo, priced at the level of a standard teishoku lunch. You can order set meals and a la carte items. I recommend the pork and eggplant or fried chicken with eggplant and yuzu dashi.

I went to Nakayoshi during lunchtime. I ordered the mackerel set meal. The view from the second floor was nice. The restaurant was small, so I had no choice but to sit at the counter. The food was okay. I was looking for value for money. I think a meal of mackerel, miso soup, grated daikon radish, and rice at Yoshinoya would have cost about 800 yen. At Nakayoshi, it was 1,180 yen. It was too expensive for me. There was a restroom inside the restaurant. Just as I was about to open the door, someone came in, so I told him to go first. I was waiting for him for 5 minutes. He must have known I was waiting, but he didn't seem to mind at all. Lol. Anyway, thank you.
