Loved everything I tried from the menu. Everything on the menu is from Aomori. The tuna and uni was excellent, the uni there had a slightly sweet taste whereas the ones I tried before had a slightly bitter taste to it. The fish was fresh and the sake recommended by the staff pairs really well with the food. For dinner time, they don’t serve normal white rice. The only rice available on the menu is don nabe style rice (from Aomori) which takes 40 mins to prepare.

High-quality and well seasoned fresh fish, competent service and pleasant atmosphere. They don't serve any plain rice for dinner, only the clay-pot rice that takes 40 minutes to cook. Also, ¥500/person service charge.

High quality course menu with fresh ingredients directly from Aomori, and for a reasonable price. The 5000yen course includes an amuse bouche, salad, sashimi, two main dishes, takikomi rice, dessert, and all-you-can-drink fie two hours.

I really enjoyed the food here and the decorations are really nice. We stayed there for 3 hours and enjoyed the time. The apple juice was the best among the non-alcoholic drinks.

After having fun at Hawaiians, we stayed at this ryokan on the neighboring property? This time our plan included a 1-day admission ticket, so we had stopped by in the morning to pick it up. We also heard explanations about meals and the facilities then, so check-in went smoothly. (We could park here then and walk to Hawaiians, saving on parking fees at Hawaiians♪) There isn't a coin laundry inside, so we drove to one in the direction of Yumoto Station to wash and dry our swimsuits and towels, and before we knew it, it was dinner time. Dinner was on the 2nd floor. It felt like a kaiseki meal served at tables. We had... ・Aperitif: Tokini jukusu kaguku no mi, umeshu It had a slightly air-freshener-like scent that I didn't like... But a drop of alcohol is a drop of blood, so I drank it lol. ・Appetizers: Colors of the four seasons, 5-item assortment Marinated salmon, shrimp, and something cured in vinegar. ・Sashimi: southern bluefin tuna, whale Chibi-chee ate quite a bit of it, but everything was delicious, and the tuna was meltingly good♡ The whale sashimi, which I probably hadn't had since childhood? Its bloody fishiness was too much for me (‐д`‐ll) blech. ・Today's meat dish: thick-cut beef tongue, tender beef tongue, seasonal vegetables Beef tongue grilled on an iron plate heated by lighting the flame whenever you want. The thick-cut beef tongue had a satisfying bite, but the tender beef tongue really fell apartヽ(゚∀゚)ノ yum♡ I wanted to focus on feeding chibi-chee during the first half, so I was happy-chee♡ to be able to light the flame when I wanted and eat warm food. ・Middle dish: sake-steamed abalone, ebi akebono The abalone, cut into easy-to-eat pieces, was tender too. Happiness♡ ・Small hot pot: hamo nabe, assorted vegetables This was another dish you could light at your own timing. The steam made photos hard to take (maybe it was the direction of the air conditioning; even blowing on it didn't help me get a good shot, haha). ・Simmered Joban fish: hana-fu, tsuyu This was served warm later, perhaps to coincide with the final part of the meal. The plump fish had the sweeter seasoning typical of Tohoku, and was a huge hit with baby-chee! ・Rice: Hitomebore from Miwa, Iwaki Rice, duck soup, somen, pickles, and so on were buffet-style. After explaining the buffet (self-service?), the ryokan attendant spoke directly to baby-chee, saying, "Have some rice." Apparently little children without a meal included could have this rice too. We gratefully accepted, and the little one happily munched on it with the ready-made baby food we'd brought, the simmered fish, and so on♡ ・Dessert: fruit cocktail For drinks, bottled beer. At first I shared 1 bottle with grandma, but when she learned there was draft beer too, she insisted she preferred it and ordered a draft beer at the same price as the bottled beer. Such a curious preference. In the end, she paid the entire accommodation bill here that we'd planned to split, and chee got to drink almost all the bottled beer alone, so I was happy, haha.
