I love this place! Whenever I visit, the flavor is consistent and the eel is delicious! The sauce is neither too salty nor too sweet, so I could appreciate the eel's natural flavor! The interior has a calm atmosphere too!

When I requested a private room, I was told they only accepted bookings for kaiseki or the top-grade unaju, so I reserved kaiseki, which is unusual for eel cuisine. Apparently, this restaurant grills its eel kabayaki relatively thoroughly. The eel was fragrant, light, and delicious. Despite choosing a more expensive meal to get a private room, the room we were shown was right opposite the restroom. It was a little disappointing that people entering and leaving the restroom were visible through the private room's entrance.

Machida 鰻屋三右エ門 It was hot during Obon, so we headed into central Machida for some nourishing eel. Reserved a restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Its ryotei-like appearance is calming. The unaju was grilled perfectly, fluffy and crisp. The flavor was very light and refined❗ My grandma kept saying how tasty it was too😋~(≧∀≦) Compared with eel restaurants in central Tokyo, it might feel a little pricey~ ※There's a seating charge of 550円 per person❗

The restaurant had a calm, ryotei-like feel that hardly seemed like Machida. When I booked by phone, I was told there were fewer à la carte dishes during the Obon holiday, but there was plenty of variety for a few extras alongside unaju. The sashimi was aged to just the right point, bringing out its savoriness. The seasonal mizunasu eggplant retained its texture and was pickled just right. The shirayaki comes with sansho, wasabi, rock salt, and a special eel sauce. The sauce is lighter than the unaju sauce and suits the shirayaki. The sashimi soy sauce and wasabi also pair well with it, so I recommend them. The unaju was exquisite, crisp outside and fluffy inside. Extra sauce is provided, so add more if you find it lacking or love sauce. It's thin and can pour out in a rush, so pouring it onto the eel is the way to go◯.
