I had never had fugu before, and it was great to finally try it. The fish is very boney, so beware if you aren't expecting that. The sashimi in the ponzu and the karaage were the standout dishes to me, even though grilling your own on an actual charcoal grill was also incredibly fun. Some set dishes are for two people, but the price listed is per person, so just know that going into it. They do accept credit cards though!

First time for fugu, puffer fish, and perhaps the last. An unassuming restaurant specialising in said fish. Unfortunately, it was most likely farmed fish we have, totally devoid of flavour. The texture of the good bits were of bacon, but with the taste of bland chicken. The bad bits, like the skin, was rubber. Thankfully I wasn't paying...

I just managed to catch the 30th anniversary celebration. Amazingly, Live torafugu course 7500 yen→4980 yen Apparently that's the price from when they first opened. When I booked online for 12:30 at lunchtime, they contacted me to say lunch service ends at 14:00, so to let me enjoy it leisurely, could I start at 12:00 if possible? I agreed to that. Thanks to them, I could enjoy it at leisure. The sashimi, karaage, and hot pot were all delicious! ※They apparently hold discounted-price events from time to time. Worth checking. ※Completely non-smoking.

Visited on Wednesday evening A course reservation had been made for me, so there was zero wait It was crowded, so I think you should reserve Even if you don't know how to eat the dishes, the staff explain everything in detail, so I could fully enjoy the course The grilled shirako I tried for the first time was delicious too It was quite lively inside, perhaps because it was year-end party season I'd like to come again on a special day!

Visited on Saturday evening, the first day of a 3-day holiday. When I called to check about 30 minutes before arriving, they apparently secured seats for us, so we were seated smoothly. I hadn't been very familiar with fugu dishes, so I appreciated the staff's careful explanations of the food and how to eat it. We had a course this time, and everything was delicious right through to the final zosui; I especially liked the tessa (sashimi) and karaage, which were light yet full of flavor. Although I often see this restaurant near major stations, I'd rarely had a chance to go, but this visit makes me want to return to enjoy fugu.
