Nice taste

金太郎 course 2nd visit. Reserved for a Sunday evening in month 2 of 2023. It was fully booked that day. We had reserved the omakase course, but they couldn't source the ingredients, so it was changed to the 金太郎 course. Even so, everything served was delicious. The seared shirako in particular had no unpleasant smell, with a fragrant surface and a melting interior. The shrimp heads were grilled perfectly, crisp yet fluffy inside. The nodoguro was thick and fresh. The drinks were all excellent too. A little over 3万 for 2 people. Satisfied. ======================== On a Saturday evening in month 3 of 2022, we splurged and booked this place, one of Machida's best, for a family celebration. The omakase course for 3 people came to around 5万円 including drinks. Everything from the appetizer to dessert was very delicious. Fresh and carefully crafted. The nigiri are small, which would be good for women too. You can freely choose 2 of the nigiri pieces. The vinegar is mild, letting the toppings' umami take center stage. There are so many drinks, from famous names to rare ones, that it's hard to choose. The vessels are beautiful and changed to suit each brand. We enjoyed a relaxed time for about 2 hours. Both the chef-owner and his wife are friendly, without the stiffness of a high-end restaurant.

The atmosphere was homey and the sushi was fresh. Non-sushi dishes kept coming out throughout the course, so the excitement never stopped! It was delicious.

I've visited several times for lunch. I'm posting photos from 2 different days. The salad includes fruit, and this time it was persimmon. It's a French-style salad that whets your appetite. The sushi is unquestionably delicious too, and at 5000円 for this quality, the value is fantastic!! A restaurant that makes you want to keep coming back(^^)
