Visited for the first time at lunchtime on a weekday. No other customers. A voice that seemed to be the owner's called from the kitchen: 'Take any open seat.' I sat in the tatami area, but it wasn't properly cleaned. Water is self-service, and the teacups seemed to be left out all the time. When I poured water, a bug was floating in it, so I couldn't drink it. Nobody came to take my order, so I took the menu over to the owner, who was watching TV. I was told, as if it were a bother, that large soba is free and large rice costs extra, but not how much extra. The cold soba and tempura were delicious. But the dipping sauce was way too strong, which was rough since I couldn't drink the water, and the katsudon meat had an abnormal smell! The smell of spoiled meat. It was a first for me, so it was a learning experience. A soba shop I'd been curious about for a long time. I'll never go back to a place that's unsanitary and serves meat that's about to rot. 'Don't take reviews at face value!' I was reminded of that through my own experience.

View on GoogleTempura seiro 1280円 The tempura was of course freshly fried, and the shrimp was big—satisfying. The soba seems to be made in-house; it's on the thick side with a good bite. I got the large soba, but it didn't seem like that much. There are lots of plastic models, Tomica, and manga in the shop, so you won't get bored waiting. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleRecommended for those who want to eat a lot; the soba broth was on the strong side. The fried chicken and grated daikon go well together too This volume was a 980円 lunch set
View on GoogleAs a soba shop with a full lineup of filling set meals, this place is extremely satisfying. Of course, the soba is made in-house from whatever good buckwheat flour is available at the time and is of solid quality. The fried oysters in the set meal are fried so beautifully that an ordinary Western-style restaurant couldn't compete—a winter must. As a soba lover this may be a bit unorthodox, but of the soba shops I frequent, this one has the most delicious curry nanban. With plastic models of warships and such, probably built by the owner, and posters overflowing with a Showa feel, it's a slightly unusual, fun soba shop. When I visited again in October 2021 after a long while, the plastic models and magazines in the shop had been scaled back quite a bit, which was a little sad. Also, maybe due to timing, there were no fried oysters.
