Best value for money The fried rice " チャーハン" here ranks N1 of all the one i ate in japan so far and I've been here for a long time. Well seasoned generous enough portion. The soup served as a side is delicious. A little too heavy on the pepper for the other dishes we ordered. You can feel the weight of the years in the shop.
View on GoogleAt lunchtime, craftsmen kept coming in, all men! The shop itself is quite old, and the interior is quite aged. Everyone was praising the gyoza, so I ordered both grilled and boiled. It's indeed delicious!! Especially the gyoza! The garlic is very effective. Vegetable ramen Well, the soy sauce taste is too strong, so I couldn't drink the soup. The meat and chives set meal seemed to be delicious. But, people who have probably come several times Gyoza set meal Gyoza with beer. This is a good choice.
View on GoogleI ordered a gyoza set meal, boiled gyoza, and char siu noodles. The gyoza was by far the most delicious, the skin was just the right thickness, and I want to eat it again! The char siu was not oily and easy to eat. Regarding the service, it's not that it's unfriendly It's just that the cleanup is a bit slow. The atmosphere is full of retro feel. If I have a chance, I will go again!
View on GoogleDon't just talk about it in terms of "cheapness", it's the perfect form of daily life that has continued since the Showa era ☕️ A prescription for you who feel like this When you want to satisfy your stomach and heart with "the usual taste" without pretense For those who want to touch the comfortable energy produced by skilled hands When you want to eat something quick, but definitely delicious in the middle of a car trip 【Anatomy of comfort】 When you open the door, the appetizing scent of soy sauce and garlic and the pleasant sound of a wok being shaken welcome you. This is a place that has been loved in Machida for many years, truly like a "shelter for town Chinese food". What is noteworthy is the skilled teamwork of the couple working in the kitchen, which can be called breathing in unison. You might tend to only look at the surprising price setting of 450 yen for ramen and 300 yen for large gyoza, but the true value lies in the "flowing skill that doesn't make you wait". Even when full at lunchtime, the tempo from order to serving is very good, and it is free from the "stress of being kept waiting" when hungry. There is no excessive friendly smile or overly intrusive customer service. However, the reliable back that silently shakes the wok and the warm voice of "thank you" when leaving exude the pride that has supported the stomach of this city for many years. This is a space where you realize that continuing to provide the daily norm of "cheap, fast, and delicious" without stress for decades is actually the most difficult professional skill. 📍 Peace of mind memo before visiting Payment: Cash only (it is smart to prepare small change in your wallet before going).
View on GoogleA town Chinese food shop that has been around for over 35 years that I know of. Floor that is slippery with oil, self-service water. Old manga is on the shelf, and old photos are displayed. Ramen is about 600 yen. 6 gyoza are very large and voluminous. But 400 yen, anyway it's cheap. People are always coming in, so I wondered if it was popular, so I visited for the second time in my life the other day. An old man who is not used to it takes orders or cooks while talking to an old woman. An old man with a small voice who doesn't seem suitable for customer service. The ramen that came out about 15 minutes after the order didn't look good or have a gourmet taste. But everyone waited for the large gyoza and freshly made ramen or set meals without complaining or getting irritated. When I realized, it was full. In the past, when I passed by this shop, the owner was washing a rusty wok or smoking. When I was walking with my dog, he would give me something. That owner passed away about 2 years ago and was closed for a while. I heard that it was reopened by his wife and son, so I wanted to support them. So, this time with a friend at the counter, we ate ramen and gyoza saying it's delicious. But, the recommendation is still gyoza rather than ramen, so a gyoza set meal might be good. Gyoza can also be taken out. It's delicious. It's a shop full of such nostalgia.
