During a drive we stopped by for a weekday lunch It was lunchtime... not that busy, but here and there people who seemed to live nearby were coming in We ordered the daily karaage set meal a children's lunch a large katsudon and tanuki soba First, the children's lunch mostly fried food, but a generous portion It also comes with a toy, and I think the toy is a little better than those at chain restaurants The daily special is under 1000円 and a really good deal The portion is also quite substantial The large katsudon I thought it was a lot... but the bowl is shallow, so it wasn't quite that much The cutlet is big though. But maybe a little tough I liked the seasoning As for the soba, leaving the noodles themselves aside, the broth is quite light... Opinions will probably differ There were lots of menu options, so I'd like to try various others too

A Japanese restaurant of the kind that used to be common, where families can enjoy themselves and that can also be used for memorial services. The food was indeed delicious. The menu is extensive and enjoyable for the whole family.

Visited on a Sunday after GW. We were aiming for the udon place 里山, but it was full, so we gave up. We decided to try 小はる庵, which we'd happened to see on the way, making this our first visit. I checked the reviews after going in, and the portions were generous. There are various menu options too, so families with children should be able to find something to order. The tempura platter shown in the photos wasn't available that day, but it looks amazing. It's a shame I hadn't noticed this place until now. I'll come again

I've known about this place for over 10 years but kept passing it by, wondering whether it was any good🙇‍♂️💦💦 It's really appreciated that we can check on Google now. First, a warning. Ladies ordering rice bowls might be better off asking for less rice. I eat a lot, but I felt seriously full. As the reviews say, it makes you go, huh👀⁉️ I chose katsudon & small zaru soba My partner had tenzaru = with the nori removed, so maybe seiro? I guess. The katsudon makes you ask, is this really a regular serving? Lots of rice and a big cutlet too. The meat is tender, and the sauce is nicely balanced. Delicious♪ The soba is a little long, but firm and goes down nicely = a large portion too. I got to share a little tempura, and naturally it was crispy and delicious♪ Wow, I'd underestimated this place. Good thing I didn't order extra zaru soba thinking it might not be enough. The price per dish isn't cheap, but with this quantity and flavor I'm satisfied♪ satisfied♪ Above all, their generosity is wonderful. The atmosphere and service are good, and the parking lot is spacious. Outdoor shoes aren't allowed inside. It's off the main road in an inconspicuous location, so checking beforehand might be necessary. Thank you for the meal♪ I'll come again♪

The building's exterior doesn't really look like a Japanese restaurant…. There's no noren curtain at the entrance, so it's hard to tell whether it's open. I think the parking lot🅿 is quite spacious. Inside, it feels like a Japanese family restaurant, with a different atmosphere from the exterior. There are tables and tatami seating, with plenty of capacity. It can also be used for memorial services and such. I had zaru soba and a small katsudon. I have no particular comments on the soba. The katsudon had a lot of liquid, and the cutlet's coating came off while eating, the flavor was ordinary too, and personally I didn't like it. Whether it was just coincidence or not, I was also concerned that there were no other customers despite it being lunchtime. Please note that payment is cash only.
