With kind, attentive service, a neatly kept interior, and a lunch menu that feels upscale yet reasonably priced, this is my favorite shabu-shabu place lately. I've been back so many times it's almost embarrassing. The photo is the daily lunch for 980 yen, 1,200 yen tax included with the drink bar added. On Monday it was the nikusui udon hot pot set, and the rice was chicken and burdock rice. Refills of rice and pickles are free. Even if you ordered the daily special every day, there are 5 varieties, so I think it's a menu you won't get tired of. The other photo is the pork shabu set meal, 1,309 yen tax included. The meat is 100 grams, the vegetables are generous, and you can add thick udon for free, so you'll get really full. For young people who can eat a lot, the all-you-can-eat is also recommended. They've also newly launched mala tang, so I'd love to try it next time. The warabi mochi dessert is soft and very tasty. The 330 yen all-you-can-eat soft serve is also a top pick. There's a corner where you can make popcorn, shaved ice, and cotton candy, which was popular with little kids.
View on GoogleI went alone a little after 3:30 PM. There was no one else but me, but partway through several large groups came in. I thought it was amazing that you can get refills on the set meal for free! They also have soft serve, cotton candy, and popcorn ^^ There are fewer options than at Shabu-Yo, but personally I'm happy that you can get all-you-can-eat soft serve on its own😋 It seems some locations have a salad bar, so I'd really love for this one to do it too!! I want to eat the limited-time mala tang with my family, so I'll be back😽♪ ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈Update I'm totally a regular now! The staff even remember me, which makes me so happy (ˊ︺ˋ)
View on GoogleI arrived around 11:30 and was able to get in without waiting. This spot used to be Anrakutei, a yakiniku restaurant, but it has opened as Dontei, part of the same Anrakutei group. I had the pork loin shabu-shabu. It was packed with vegetables and delicious, and great value for money too.
View on GoogleStopped by on my way back from Machida. The aged beef sukiyaki set meal was delicious, and you can adjust the flavor with warishita and dashi. I also enjoyed the self-serve shaved ice and cotton candy for the grand opening.
View on GoogleSeriously understaffed! The lunch set is 1,300 yen with all-you-can-eat rice and eggs—killer potential. On that point alone it beats Yayoiken. A friend for bulking season. Also nice that weekends have the same lunch. There were floss picks in the restroom, but I'm too scared to use them since you never know who's touched them and with what hands.
