What a warm space this is…… If it were in my neighborhood, I'd want to go every day. Every dish has a comforting, home-cooked taste, and it's carefully made too. Both my stomach and my heart were satisfied.
View on GoogleMy wife and I happened to pass by Aihara Station on the Yokohama Line on our bikes, saw a sign for lunch, and went in to eat — it turned out to be a lovely madam's shop. This time the daily lunch was chestnut rice with hamburg steak. It felt like going back to my parents' home, and it was delicious.
View on GoogleLocated at Aihara Station where the air is clean, this place has an interior that blends with nature, making it a very calming space. The chatty owner told us they visited cafés in Kamakura and incorporated ideas into the interior. Chatting with the owner was a fun time too, and it's a shop I hope will keep going in a slow, relaxed way, even if people just come for tea.

The interior is a mess, like some run-down snack bar?? with tons of tacky stuff lying around, the old lady who owns it is extremely set in her assumptions, and starts telling creepy stories in a really condescending way, The lunch, of course, has hick-style seasoning, and for something that doesn't taste good, it's expensive, In the back tatami room, baby cockroaches were crawling around. Never going again.
