Such a great place for pizza! Had a lovely time

My friends and I came here on a whim after going to the Hard Off down the road. We shared a large order of the Bolognese pasta (ground beef) and a large porcini pizza with Italian crust. The Bolognese sauce was delicious. The Italian crust had a wonderful taste from the wood stove. Best part it was so affordable!

Lunch special for 2 included 3 antipasto and salad, 21cm pizza, shrimp gratin, and dessert. Free refills on the peach tea. Food was all pretty good. Thought it was a good deal until time to pay, when I discovered the price was per person. Guess I missed that on the menu.

I used to go to the branch in Higashi Rinkan years ago and my memory of it was good. However, our recent visit to this branch was disappointing. There was nothing wrong with the food but it seemed mediocre and typical generic pseudo-Italian cuisine. Also, the tables were too close together.

Essential Italian food: rich & indulgent. The employees were very kind to my English-speaking family and my children were entertained by the pizza dough demonstration (we were there around 1pm).
