Google Maps【Serigaya Park (Mori no Oka)】On March 28, Reiwa 8, Tokyo announced the cherry blossoms were in full bloom・Photos posted from my smartphone on March 30!
View on GoogleIt's unclear why it's called "Mori no Oka" (Forest Hill), but this name appears on the Serigaya Park guide map published by Machida City. Anyway, it's on the way to the Machida City Museum of Graphic Arts at the bottom of the valley in Serigaya Park, so you'll pass through it. The elevation is about 87 m, and beyond here is a valley, so the path goes downhill. The valley floor is at about 65 m, so the elevation difference is about 22 m. For some reason, a giant spherical three-dimensional work made of stainless steel and iron, Inoue Bukichi's《my sky hole 88-4》, is installed here. Its surface is a mirror, and there's a hole in part of it.
