Kind of like a michi no eki for cyclists, joggers, and walkers on the Oondagawa. A very good quiet place next to the river to take a break. Can’t wait to grab a table outside during cherry blossom season. Hope they will consider adding a bike rack for parking once cyclists discover this great place - but it isn’t bad now - I just leaned my bike against the fence.

No parking🅿️ No bicycle rack🚲 There is a designated place to park bicycles beside the toilets near the café entrance. This is a café☕️ opened in a school meal center. There are indoor seats and terrace seats on the 1st and 2nd floors. The location isn't necessarily ideal (because it's next to a waste-processing center), but they've made good use of the riverside cherry blossoms and the park on the grounds, creating a place where the elevated tracks and such aren't too noticeable. Today, a kingfisher visited the river in front of the café, and I got to see its beautiful lapis-blue feathers! There were lots of visitors at lunchtime the other day, but conversation noise had never bothered me before. Today, even though there was only 1 group inside, their conversation really bothered me, so I enjoyed tea served in a pot on the terrace♪ At the next table, visitors with a dog were enjoying a meal on the terrace too. As for food, besides school meals, you can enjoy waffles, toast, pasta, and a wide variety of curries🍛. The portions were substantial, and there's a children's menu too. Surprisingly, the drinks include beer and wine. There is honey milk, various coffees, and tea that's delicious and properly brewed with tea leaves, rather than just colored water. There really are very few places with good tea, but this one was fine👌. The prices are very reasonable, and the value for money is unbeatable. For example, beef tendon curry ¥490+rice ¥200 comes to ¥690. Given the location, it'll probably get crowded during cherry blossom season. There may be lots of housewives during the day. After all, there hadn't been anywhere around here to stop for a little tea. Runners along the river were also looking at it with interest as they ran.

It's a little far from my home, but it was a good distance for a walk, so I stopped by. First, there is no parking for cafeteria users. There are tennis courts a little to the east (a 3–5-minute walk), and you'll need to use their parking lot. (The rates are in the 11th photo) If someone has difficulty walking, there are ‘considerate parking spaces’ on the south side of the building, so it would be best to drop them off there before taking the car to the parking lot. The cafeteria and toilets are the areas that people not affiliated with the facility can use. The cafeteria isn't positioned as a coffee shop; it's basically a free rest area with a light-meal sales counter attached. Booking the multipurpose room costs money, but you're free to use the seats when stopping by or relax on the terrace. Bringing your own food and drinks is fine too. (Alcohol is also allowed) You don't have to buy anything at the light-meal counter, but on the other hand, they don't show you to a seat or manage visitors. (They do wipe the tables) Well, personally, if I were using this place, I'd order something (lol) Use the toilets with an entrance from outside. Are they only available during the same hours as the cafeteria? (I haven't checked that far) Overall, the parking situation isn't great, but otherwise I think it's a good facility.

It's in just the right location for a break when going to see the cherry blossoms along the Onda River. There aren't any shops nearby, so I'm glad this place, where you can also have a light lunch, opened here. I ordered a hot drink. From the 2nd-floor seats, reached by elevator, I could look down at the cherry blossoms and relax at leisure. I wondered if it was served in a paper cup because the prices are low, but the people having cold drinks had stylishly shaped glass cups with coasters. It might have tasted better in a ceramic cup that wouldn't impart a paper flavor. I wanted to relax with a stylish cup and enjoy a little escape from everyday life.

Stopped by during a run. It seems to get crowded during cherry blossom season, but with peak bloom over, it was quiet. I intended to take a short break, but it was so comfortable that I stayed longer than expected. The customers already there didn't seem ready to leave either, and everyone appeared to be relaxing at their own pace. Apparently the 2nd-floor terrace seating can also be reserved for private use.
