Good, comfortable seating (very), poundcake (matcha) delicious. Coffee could be a bit bigger...
View on GoogleCame for lunch. I had no reservation and sat at the counter, but the atmosphere of the first-floor bakery and the dried flower arrangements blended harmoniously, so I could enjoy my meal in a nice setting. Seasonal soup (potato) with a mini salad and bread. For the dessert set I chose the cheesecake, and it was very delicious. The smoked cream cheese and olive oil served with the bread were also outstanding. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleI ordered shaved ice for the first time 🍧 I was surprised that the shaved ice came with tea and baked goods—quite a great-value set! Everything was delicious. The tiramisu shaved ice was just the right size and not too sweet, with cream and coffee jelly inside too, so I enjoyed it to the very end. The staff's explanations and service were also very kind.
View on GoogleAbout a 4-5 minute walk from the north exit of Odakyu Machida Station, this shop is right in front of bus stops No. 21 and 22 at the Kanachu bus terminal in front of the station. Kogasaka Bake's café space is located on a sort of mezzanine between the 1st and 2nd floors, and it's hugely popular. You can make reservations through the E-PARK system (a reservation system familiar to anyone who goes to the dentist). Besides the café, takeout is also available. This time I bought the freshly laid egg pudding made with Ebina eggs, and the super moist, rich cheesecake made by Fujita-san. Both were very rich yet not too heavy, and delicious. They seem to have many popular items, and many sell out by around evening. Around early afternoon, lots of young women come and lines can form, so I recommend choosing an off-peak time to visit.
