A hidden gem centered around a counter that you should stop by when you come to Nakamise Shopping Street. Ikudon is famous for grilled horumon, but here the owner grills it to perfection with "no effort to grill" required. The famous motsu-ni (stewed offal), shiro, and pork tongue are all consistently delicious. The ramen that recently appeared uses the soup from the main store, which is rich yet gentle in taste. It is served quickly, and the portion is modest, so it is perfect for finishing. Sometimes it is topped with homemade menma, and both the appearance and taste are very satisfying. The soup for this ramen uses broth carefully made for ojiya (rice porridge), and the soup itself is also served as a service. However, it is only if you order ramen or ojiya. To preserve this taste, please taste it once. There is a reason why you want to keep coming to this shop. As a local, I am really happy that there is a shop in the alley of Nakamise Shopping Street where you can taste such masterpieces.

No.88 Nikomiya Ikudon Draft beer and appetizer soup, motsu-ni (stewed offal), lemon sour, and buttered potato. Total 2200 yen. The motsu-ni is truly in a different class. Tofu, daikon, and burdock, the handling of all of them is high level. As for the buttered potato, it goes without saying. It is a stall-like shop located in the middle of Nakamise-dori ヽ(^o^)丿

This shop was covered by the magazine Sanpo no Tatsujin. The person who used to work at Ikudon Machida manages this shop. Stewed offal is recommended, it is easy to eat and the texture of the offal is chewy, which is a taste I personally like. It goes perfectly with beer, and is served in an easy-to-eat size.

The vegetables are delicious! The shiitake mushrooms are soft with just the right amount of salt, and the green onions were sweeter and more delicious than I imagined. Next time I want to try the ball konnyaku and ramen! You can enjoy your meal in a relaxed and calm manner😊

The first thing I felt was that the price is high for the store format! I ordered it because the stewed offal is the selling point. There were reviews from others saying that the chewy texture was indescribable, but according to the owner, the offal slaughtered in the morning was carefully cleaned and stewed, but there was a discrepancy with my sense of stew. For me, "stew" = "stewed sufficiently", but there was indeed a chewy texture and it was not a texture I could get used to. Overall, it was expensive, so I left without going too deep.
