It's very small restaurant (possibly a renovated house) but the atmosphere is warm. The couple that runs the restaurant is very friendly. The food came almost immediately as well!

A small Western-style restaurant. The lunch rice is served in a rice bowl. Naturally, you eat it with chopsticks. For Japanese people, this is appreciated. This time I had the hamburger lunch. The taste of the demi-glace sauce was exquisite and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

3/21 [Sat] Around 2 PM I had the teriyaki chicken set meal. The shop is like a hideaway and the door has a lovely bear wood carving. The interior feels bright and somehow cozy. Shops with a good first impression are usually delicious. An elderly woman handed me water in a large glass. It feels nice when it's handed to you. Why is that? Well, the teriyaki chicken set meal arrived. The presentation is simple but lovely. And, there is a nice aroma of dashi from the miso soup. The salad is with a Japanese-style plum dressing? Refreshing and delicious. The pickles are also homemade? The texture and taste were very delicious. The main teriyaki chicken, the outside is crispy when you bite into it and tender, and eating it with the sauce on top made me feel happy✨ Delicious. Is the meat grilled on an iron plate? Or pressed while grilling? It's crispy and juicy and delicious. Salad, pickles, miso soup, all are delicious. It was a little small for me, but I was satisfied to have a lunch that was better than that. I'll come again!

A single-house restaurant. I was surprised because it was quite authentic. Despite the reasonable price, it's quite solid and delicious. Bento-style meals like Western-style bentos are also quite rare. Now there are few shops that serve in this bento format. There are 4 parking spaces.

I stopped by while going to see plum blossoms at Yakushiike Park in Machida. I ordered the chicken lemon steak, my wife ordered the onigiri lunch, but what was served was the Bairin lunch. My wife said it was actually an "upgrade," so we both enjoyed it deliciously. I often go to "hideaway" shops in residential areas, and Bairin easily ranks among the best. First, I am surprised by the breadth of the menu variety. Although I think teppanyaki is the main dish, they cover all the menus usually covered by a public cafeteria, such as various Western dishes, Japanese-style bentos, oyako-ju, curry, ramen, and spaghetti. I sensed the quality of this shop when I was given a wet towel, which is rare these days, and cold water in a large glass. I happened to go to a shop called "Kando no ⚪︎ to ⚪︎" in Aobadai the day before, and at that time I realized that these days, "cheap means almost everything is self-service...". However, I received warm hospitality at Bairin, and although I am not saying that the "Kando no..." shop is bad, I think I had a very valuable hospitality experience these days. Bairin's pricing was quite reasonable as of late February (there are plans for a price increase, so please contact the shop for details). I arrived at Bairin around 1:30 PM on a Sunday, and it was full with a group of customers in the tatami room, so I had to wait a little. They looked very busy. The lemon steak I ordered was served on a fairly heavy iron plate with vegetables. The lemon steak, as the name suggests, had a delicious acidity, and I enjoyed it very much, but that's not all. The steak and other dishes kept their piping hot temperature until the end, and I was able to enjoy a very wonderful iron plate dish. To enjoy all the goodness of this shop, you must try the meat and vegetable stir-fry often introduced in the images, or the Japanese and Western-style bentos. I have to visit many times. This shop is surrounded by furniture with refined taste, and it is not just a "set meal shop". I don't know how they cook so many menus, but I feel a tremendous effort. My honest impression is that even if it were a few hundred yen more expensive, I would still come. I believe that each and every such excellent cafeteria or restaurant is the fruit and crystallization of effort, and each one is a cultural heritage. I take my hat off to everyone working there. I hope they take care of their health and continue to provide wonderful Japanese food and hospitality for as long as possible.
