A neighborhood Chinese restaurant in Naruse. The place is a little small. I went alone around 18 on a holiday, and quite a few seats were occupied. I ordered: Bottled beer, Kirin Lager medium bottle, 600 yen Gomoku yakisoba, 800 yen Half-size fried rice and 4 gyoza set, 350 yen Total 1750 yen. I ordered a medium bottle without much thought, but looking closely at the menu, the large bottle was 650 yen and seemed a better deal. The half-size fried rice and gyoza are an add-on set for noodle dishes. The gyoza are small, the yakisoba portion feels a little small too, and the seasoning also seems rather mild.
View on GoogleAn old-fashioned neighborhood Chinese restaurant. The reasonable pricing is nice. Ramen with half-size fried rice & 4 gyoza for 950 yen is wonderful. The ramen was a perfectly ordinary shoyu ramen. The noodles were curly, which I personally liked. I felt the fried rice lacked a little punch. The gyoza were bite-sized, with a good ginger flavor, and delicious. They're piping hot, so be careful not to burn yourself. The interior was compact, with about 6 counter seats and 2 tables. There doesn't seem to be parking?? I might go again if I feel like it..
View on GoogleI ordered the ginger pork set meal, but the portion was far too small. It was almost like a children's meal, and people who seemed to be regulars were ordering 2 main dishes, such as ramen and fried rice. I recommend a large portion or another main dish. The food tasted good.
View on GoogleI visited before noon on Sunday. The interior is small, but the ramen and half-size fried rice set (with 4 gyoza) for 900 yen is great value, very fair pricing. The taste is average, but I like neighborhood Chinese places like this. It's not that far from home, so I'll definitely return; it seems easy to drop in alone. There's no parking, but there's paid parking nearby.
View on GoogleA neighborhood Chinese restaurant I'd love to have near home! The owner and his wife's friendly service also makes the atmosphere welcoming. These days, more chain restaurants and other places offer impersonal service, so it's such a shame that independent places like this are disappearing. I hope they stay healthy and keep going without overdoing it.
